Since Willow was a Hacker before she was a witch and then in a later season it proved that Willow could use her Magic to enhance her hacker skills, and since Jenny Calender was a techno-pagan and the show never really explored that area of magic, maybe Willow and the other witches and those tech-savvy(?) Slayers and Watchers and have set up detection/senser grids along with databases of informational storage so that history and entertainment and stuff isn't lost. Maybe the Slayers, Witches and Watchers raided Hollywood, Libraries and various government buildings/databanks/bases/warehouses/etc,.
