I was so happy to see another update to your wonderful story. You write good stuff. What makes your story even better is your "Mike" part is just as good as the BtVS parts. I would have loved to see Cottontail go up against a vampire, I'm not sure which would have run away screaming in terror, but I did like how you characterized her. And please bring Kendra back someday. Her relationship with Xander was both sweet and sexy. All in all, this is a great story and I hope you continue to update it regularly. Thanks for the fun.

{ahem} Not that I'm excited or any... yeah, can't even type that without calling myself a liar... Liked the way Xander and Cottontail interacted; get the feeling that she knows a lot more than Xander would be comfortable with - it is, after all, what she does. The armory and credit line, not to mention the cash, was an excellent gift from Mike - almost as good as the beer Xander's currently hoarding... Wondering what else Mike sent over as gifts to the people he 'remembers', and when ewe get to see them handed out.

I'll join everyone else and say 'welcome back'. While it was good to see Cottontail arrive in Sunnydale and also Xander thinking with his 'Bighead' and not his 'Littlehead' I would have liked to see her having a run in with some of the nightlife in town. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next update, hopefully without to long of a wait.

I didn't want Cottontail taking over the chapter, and I wanted to break things to the Scoobies gently. We might see more of her adventures in future chapters, though.

I must say that I haven't read the series but I have no problems with following the story you wrote. So, good job there.

I'm counting on some action next chapter.

Ringo's books are much better than I'm showing, it's worth checking out. At times you need a strong stomach, but the action and fun more than pays off.

No surprise that Mike would send a case of beer.

Surprise would be if it wasn't Mother Lenka's Brew, instead of the commonly available Mountain Tiger, which is nowhere near as good.

Hehe ... Mike did offer in the first chapter ... and he knows the value of making sure his troops get the best ... ;)

I'll chime in with the rest and give a "thumbs up" to this story getting a breath of life!

I stand by my initial review - this is still one of the best Paladin of Shadows cross-overs I've read. I really hope that your inspiration stays high and you can finish the cycle!

i love john ringo stories. this is a great start. you should use tracer ammunition for vampires. and you should have him send ted the robot to mike to see if he could find out how to use it. about ted he should buy his house and use it with the basement with and all the work ted down there it would be a good base for when the library is to well known.

Personally, I'm going with the fanon that Buffyverse robotics is techno-magery, with the circuits and wires actually standing in for runes and magical symbols, and the programming acting as spells, all powered by the Hellmouth. A normal scientist trying to copy it somewhere else would just find it a mess of non-functioning tech.
