Please update. Is this gonna be a Buffy/Elrond pairing?
Comments from author:
The next part is coming quite soon, actually! Part IV marks a transition back to the Tolkien!verse which I'm very excited about. As for Elrond, he'll be alluded to in Part IV and feature more heavily in Part V...To specifically answer your question, yes, I actually consider this whole series to be Buffy/Elrond from Part II onwards.
Thanks for reading.

This is a good story, kinda sobering/almost depressing though. Very good quality & looking forward to reading more.
Comments from author:
It really is depressing, isn't it? That was only originally intentional in the beginning, but things kept snowballing...as I said, season 6 was pretty miserable for everyone. I *can* promise that we have officially reached bottom. This part of the series is nearly over, and should end on a slightly more uplifting note - and the next segment will definitely be more positive, so keep an eye out! Thanks for reviewing!

Oh wow. I love the flashback here. Also, makes perfect sense as to why Buffy wouldn't fight back too hard at first, because she's in shock/in flashback mode.
I love you. Yes, this story is fascinating, but mostly now because I know you are a fellow lover of Bernini. My time in Rome was just about finding his sculptures. I did go to the Borghese gallery but unfortunately all passes were sold out a month in advance because, unknown to me, there was a major Raphael exhibition going on at that time. However, I did buy an Apollo & Daphne bookmark :) So I am very jealous you got to see that sculpture!!
Comments from author:
I can't describe how thrilled I am that someone reading this story just happens to be a Bernini-lover. Definitely go back to the Borghese if you have the chance, because it's completely amazing. I went originally with a class, and my friend and I kept everyone waiting for half an hour in the gift shop because we just wouldn't leave.
Thanks also for your many reviews! I'm not great at responding always, but I really do appreciate them.
I like this start. It conveys something of the enormity of what has been lost, yet there is still something that drives her onward. I hope she remembers more.
