Poor Casey. :( She's really coming into her own as a slayer, but she's still such a vulnerable person. You'd think she'd be doing better than Buffy was originally (the dealing with her fate part) because she has Faith and Buffy, but I think she needs her own Scooby gang to really come into her own..... *hint hint* *wink wink* :) Update soon!

She may not move full time into a Slayer House, but will probably show up there at some point. I'm still working on getting the voices right for the characters, so chapters are staying pretty short. But I'll probably start throwing in some more plot - and more slayers - sometime soon. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

I love the idea of Casey as a slayer. She's so responsible, but at the same time, so incapable of handling something major like this. Casey is too much of a control freak, and slaying is one of the most out of control "professions" out there. She's going to crack eventually, and it's going to be way worse than Buffy's "Anne" phase or Faith's... well Faithness. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I'm glad Giles was able to come himself. I'm sure he will be better at contact with the parents than any of the others. Of course any of the scoobies would be better at contact with a teenager than him :) I hope it is all good news that Giles has to tell her about how the council has changed, and that the demands placed on Slayers now are much less.

I absolutely love this. Casey as a Chosen Slayer and acknowledging the attracting between Casey and Derek. (It's so there! I see it everytime I watch the show! My husband thinks I'm crazy!). Neurotic, perfectionist Casey, having to do something as messy as being a Slayer... love the concept.

Cool dream. Pretty useful on the background actually but not so helpful on the next steps that should be taken. It sounds like you are saying that Faith died to call Casey, but I am not sure why that would be necessary with all the slayers being called from Willow's spell. And if Faith's death didn't stick then at least she will still be around to help explain things. I hope for Casey's sake that she doesn't get too close to Derek!
