Bravo! This story is awesome! Just the right length and you didn't have either fandom truly overshadow the other. Bravo!!!

Thanks so much. I really worked hard to make sure that there was good balance, and that the story would still ultimately fit into the storyline. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks again for reading!

Hey, back again

.... You are right, with the not vanquishing Willow.
Good story though.

As for what canon means? It's the conceptual material accepted as official. So it's what we know about characters of a series or book that is either said in the series or books or said by the producers, author etc. If you goggle 'canon fiction' you'll find a wiki page explaining it better.

Love, Kimberley

Hello!

First of, very well written story. The characters where pretty good in canon. That said, I didn't like the story. You made he Charmed Ones OOC by not having them vanquish Willow. The Charmed Ones protect the innocent and vanquish the evil. And at the time and day of your story, Willow was evil. She had already killed one man, and was planning on killing more. By all rights she should have been vanquished the moment the Charmed Ones learned of her existence. Should you ever decide to revise your story, rewrite the part where she had already killed someone. Than the Charmed Ones could help her, without having to destroy her for being evil.

Hope you don't mind the comments.

Hello Kimberley,

Thank you so much for reading my story and for you comments. I realize that not everyone who reads this will like it, and that is fine. I'm just thrilled you took the time to read it. I would like to disagree with you on a couple of points though. Yes, the Charmed Ones duty is to protect innocents and vanquish evil. Agreed. Willow did kill a human being. Agreed. However, Willow killed another human being who had also killed, and attempted to kill Buffy. Warren was not an innocent. I'm not saying that he deserved to be vanquished by Willow, but he was not of the "good" variety. I don't believe I took the Charmed Ones OOC when their goal was to help Willow. First of all, they were approached by Giles for their assistance. So they came with him knowing that they would be trying to stop her and not necessarily vanquish her. In Season #2 of Charmed, they were faced with the same situation in the episode Astral Monkey, when Dr. Williamson acquires their powers and ends up killing other humans in his flawed sense of helping his patients. They tried to expel the magic from him before they were forced to kill him. In my story, the women were ready to vanquish Willow if Xander was unsuccessful. Piper made it clear before they left the manor to return to Sunnydale that Willow was evil and their job was to protect the innocents.
I also wanted to be able to end this story much like it had ended in the series, so that the continuity going in to the 7th season would still be workable. I have a question for you though. What does "canon" mean?
