Review of chapter "Thick as Thieves" from (Current Donor)Listener
Review:
This was cute and fun, and I liked the bit where Artie and Xander happened to be at the same place. The stuff with Claudia's proclivities was fun too. But the story suffers from having Ethan be the bad guy again. Not your fault per SE, but I'm burned out on him as a villain.
Comments from author:
Yeah, if you read the other reviews Ethan kinda just took over as the villain once the story went completely silly. With all the chaos going on he was really the only choice that made sense at the time.

Originally it was going to be a serious bit with a nasty 'big bad' but comedy got the better of me as soon as Dawn woke up in the truck... That moment with Xander and Artie was supposed to be a light moment to counterpoint the tension that was going to develop... and then... well... EEP!

Review:
very entertaining story would be interesting to see what more those two could get up to
Comments from author:
Glad you enjoyed it. Assuming the muse strikes there may be other bondagy fun the two could get up too...

Been noodling this idea where some warlock captures Dawn(power), Claudia(passion) and perhaps Jennifer Haley(knowledge) from Stargate and performs a spell that turns them into wax candles that then get 'burned' and the drippings form together to make a single 'golem' from the three of them to execute some evil scheme... but that's all I've really got so far...

Great story!

And I can see the next meeting of the IWC bosses and the Regents including agreements to !NEVER! let Dawn and Claudia team up together again. ;-)
Comments from author:
Hey, it's not like they planned it.

On the other hand, I think Buffy want's Ethan bronzed.

I am so sorry I read this lovely story on my break at work. I darn near died stifling my laughter. I hope Dawn and Claudia have many more kinky adventures together. After all, there are so many fetishes they could get tied up in. Lol!
Comments from author:
It is an honor to be able to provide proper amusement.

Next time, drink milk while reading :p

and GAH! My muse is supposed to be working on my Robotech crossover... I let her play here to get it out of her system.... and you're giving her /ideas/...

Review of chapter "Thick as Thieves" from Rich
Review:
Ok - I'm still not entirely sure exactly what happened, but this was a lot of fun. Characterization was dead on target, and the dialog was funny. Overall a very nice job.
Comments from author:
I'm not quite sure myself!

This started off as a serious story that was hijacked by the characters from the moment Dawn woke up in the box. If not a bit earlier (Claudia was quite a bit more snarky in her first scene than I was expecting).

Most of the way through, I was planning this huge, intricate fight scene with a generic big bad... but by the time I got to the Cafeteria, it was clear that there was only one villain worthy of the story...

At least I resisted having Artie say 'In a handbasket' when asked if Sunnydale went to Hell :)
