Review:
Interesting start. I do wonder how the Aurors, adn the Wizarding world, will respond to learning that Buffy was the slayer!

And, since we know Dawn can do magic, if of the ritual type, how would they count that? Squib, Witch, or something not encountered before?

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Albino
Review:
I love it

It would not surprise me if Dawn will be able to use wand magic and the the explanation to why she was not invited to a magical school was that she was in Sunnydale and the hellmouth did hid here presence. I wonder how Amelia Bones will react when she find out more about the local wildlife in Sunnydale.

Can only see one problem and that is that the chapters is really short.

Keep the chapters coming

I'm glad that you're enjoying the story so much. You theory regarding why Dawn did not get invited to a magical academy is good, although it's also possible that she's a squib, or that it had something to do with her state of existence when she should have been eleven years old. I'm sorry about the short chapters, but I'm giving preference to speed over length at present.

Thanks again :)

Great story.

What will be Madame Bones' response to hearing Fudge had his daughter committed when she discovered the existence of vampires? Did he try to modify her memory first, and when that didn't work (some sort of slayer resistance) he panicked? And what sort of bad blood do the council and ministry have?

I can't wait to see more. And I hope the Buffy Bot gets fixed.
Comments from author:
I'm glad that you are enjoying the story. I would expect that Madame Bones will take everything Dawn says with a grain of salt for now, although she will be investigating some of Dawn's claims later. As for the Council and Ministry, they have a long history and loads of bad blood between them. You'll hear quite a bit more about it later in the story.

Thanks for the kind review :)

Review of chapter "Chapter Three" from Gideon
Review:
Oh dear, Dawn seems to be expecting the magical world to make some kind of sense. This does not bode well and she is sure to be disappointed. maybe Madame Bones could use up one of those special "truth" papers to support what she is saying?
If the Watcher's council is not on good terms with the ministry of magic in Britain, then Dawn might be tempted to run to them for protection. I can't see that turning out at all well either. I hope Giles can talk her out of that!
Comments from author:
Yes. The magical world is not much with the sense-making. Hopefully, Dawn will get used to it. Thank you for your suggestions :)

Review:
hahaha... if she only knew! and is dawn going to be able to do magic, 'cuz she is still technacilly the key?
Comments from author:
Dawn is going to have a rather complicated relationship with magic, being a magical construct herself. I don't think I'll say any more just now, in order to avoid spoilers. Thank you for your kind review :)

I'm not sure that smoothly is the word I would use, but things certainly should be interesting :)

Review:
yeah, any kind of diagnostic spell on Dawn might have unforeseen consequences. One wonders just how good those monks of Dagon were in the whole "Dawn spell". For that matter, Dawn has never even been checked for wand-magic -usability. Understandable as she didn't exist at age 11. But still....
Um...the "Willow spells Tara's memory" thing hasn't happened yet, right? 'cause that coming out could be a tad embarrassing. Oh right, that was later on, in S6.
* And if Madame Bones thinks this interview is difficult, she doesn't know how lucky she is that Spike isn't present. Whether or not he or Angel knows about the wizarding world is a great question, too. I"m thinking the Master did -he seemed to have magic of his own. Anyway---
So at some point it's going to come down to "I'm taking Dawn away, her dad has custody, legally you can't stop me, I've got Aurors backing me up" ? At which point it gets messy. Maybe Willow would insist on going with? Or insist on Spike going with? Tara "Iron Boot" McClay is obviously not suitable for this, too violent. (Will anyone think to say "Hey while you're here, are you any good at de-ratting people"?
Comments from author:
I don't know about 'any diagnostic spell,' but certainly any spell checking the authenticity of her memories would probably cause problems. All the Scoobies would likely run into this issue. As for Angel and Spike, all the vampires who have been around for a while have at least heard of the Wizarding World.

You are right in that things will probably get a bit messy, although Madame Bones is fairly deft.

Thanks for the kind review.
