Nice story, combining two of my favorite shows. I don't particularly miss Beckett here, Buffy replaces her perfectly (and so far with less issues), and it feels like a good match for both the two shows and the characters. Though a bit more supporting characters on the Buffy side would be good as well - the shovel talks will likely be coming anyway, but some work-related interaction between Castle and watchers/slayers would be good as well.

Yes! I will continue this story! I just got SO busy and didn't have anytime to sit down with it and then when I got some time and tried to sit down, I'd lost where the original story was going!

Seriously, I find this story hilarious! You get bonus points for not making a single reference to Caleb, adding in Castle's lame alliteration (Mallory ... the Monster Hunter rather sputters trippingly off the tongue!), and keeping Castle's masochistic character true to form.

He just can't get enough threats from petite women!

Oh, and you also haven't caved and made Alexis a potential. Castle might become more horrified than intrigued should that happen, and then the comedy would turn left instead of right, or the off-ramp, during its first opportunity!

So, KUDOS!
