Very well done, your characterization catches everyone very true to the shows. Looking forward to the next chapter. In ch. 4 you state Angela and jack are married but you have them engaged in a earlier chapter, everything else looks good. Thanks for the story

I'm very glad that things got better for you, for this series and this story was definitely missed. And the update a perfect excuse to go back and compulsively reread and refresh, because details definitely matter.
Thank you very much for writing, and looking forward to future chapters!

Review of chapter "Introduction to Intermediate World Saving" from Meneldur
Review:
My condolences on real life keeping you away from this story; it has been a grief to us as well, and yet still affects us, as evinced by the lateness of this review.

Nice reference to Richard III. I would totally watch the hell out of an episode like that.

The ritual was amazing. I loved how uneasy Katie was about it (and Lord, it feels weird to call her something so informal) and how she hid it as best as she could. Meanwhile, everybody elses' skepticism was a nice touch, especially when the spells kicked in. The image of them shutting their mouths rather than them falling open was amusing. Ducky's work was brilliant, and combined with Willow's later guidance, one of the most beautiful team ups I've ever seen.

So, what exactly did go on there? I mean, it was obviously some kind of combined hypnosis/subconscious/magic soul realm thing. I personally loved seeing Katie being Katie, and being with her mother, and how despite the other-worldliness of what happened, it was still all in her head, and could only remind and tell her of what she knew. The first phase seemed to be hypnosis/unconscious; the second was quite obviously some magic mental realm. I was impressed by Willow managing to keep them out, allowing Margaret and Katie their first communication. The way Margaret comforted Katie before panic st in over Margaret knowing what she'd done was wonderful.

Willow and Ducky's interactions keep rising to new heights. It's wonderful how despite the great differences between them, they are similar in many ways as well, almost kindred souls.

Why is the Mossad the least compromised agency? I mean, national pride forces em to claim that of course it is, but why is it in here?

Amish Mafia, heh, that was hilarious. although it makes me think Ziva is sometimes deliberately messing with Tony, because 'mafia' is also used in Israeli slang.

The story behind Booth's past and resemblance to Angel was brilliant. I absolutely loved it. Especially when the conversation descended into hottie genes.

Buffy and Willow expertly handling the vampires while Ziva and Tony are shocked was another great scene. I can't wait to see more.

Willow's statistical analysis on vampires was very interesting. I'd love to hear more, like how she accomplished it and so forth.

Well, it looks like things are quickly heading towards a showdown. I can't wait.
Comments from author:
Thank you for your kind comments, Meneldur.

Here's how I view the combination of Pretender and BtVS worlds: both psychic powers (like Katherine Parker's) and the ability to perform magic (like Willow) exist. Because Miss Parker never received training, and she may have actively discouraged from using her abilities by her adoptive father and Sidney, she needs some help getting to a place where she could use them. The Pretender portrays her with primarily clairvoyance, but I think there were some hints that telepathy was part of it. So, Ducky uses hypnotism to bring Katie to a mental state where she can use her powers. That's all the way up until she opens the closet door. After that, she's in telepathy mode.

This is where Willow's spell comes in. Untutored telepath? Lots of other telepaths (or espers, as I use in the story) looking for her and the other family members? Wild telepathic critters looking for a brainy lunch? Willow's spell created a kind of psychic landing place that let invited espers in and kept all the others out. It gave a beginner like Katie the opportunity to reach out, contact, and communicate with more experienced telepaths without the normal risks.

Also, I am convinced Ziva messes with Tony's head as frequently as possible.

I sorta/kinda pulled the statistical analysis from a mention in Barbara Hambly's Traveling with the Dead where one of the characters mentioned that with a vampire needing to feed at a stated frequency (F) and living for a stated amount of time (T), it could be expected to have murdered a certain number (X) of people (I think it was well over 10,000 for a 100 year old vampire). [That is, (TF = X) for our viewers at home.] I have a half-formed algorithm in my head for growth of the vampire population over time, and the numbers are based on a general impression of the frequency of mook, minion, underling, dragon, and master vampires in the BtVS world.

Thanks again.

I'm confused. This is called a Buffy centered story but I really don't know what she is doing in this story. It's more Willow centered than it's Buffy centered. Don't get me wrong the story is good and well written sometime a little confusing but that is normal with a multi crossover. But that's not a excuse to call it Buffy centered. It's not.

You forgot that Buffy defeated the vampire king Lothos another master vampire before The Master or didn't she faced him this time.

Maybe not Buffy centered still a good story and I like that Buffy and Jarot are an item. Really like your Miss Parker.

Can't wait what will be next.
