Five Dates Supergirl Didn’t Enjoy… And One She Did

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from Grovtech
Review:
But that was what made these so entertaining. It was the ordinary worries and concerns that made these standout. Dating is one of the rituals everyone frets over. Kara's dates just have different levels of what can go wrong or in the case of Dick, what can go right. :)
Comments from author:
True - but I really need to write more stories where she saves the world etc.!

Review:
These shorts were great and a lot of fun. Oh, the trials of dating!
Comments from author:
In hindsight I'm wondering if defining Supergirl's life by the success of her love life is really a good idea - she does have other priorities!

Review:
Very nice, but I have to admit I thought it was Querl Dox inside a runaway time-bubble :)
Comments from author:
Never much liked him - and I really wanted Nightwing in this universe somehow.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from dcarson
Review:
As usual you take very unusual crossovers and make them seem like it has to be that way.
Comments from author:
Thanks - I'm not sure Supergirl / Nightwing is that unusual, but I know what you mean.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from Gideon
Review:
I like how you added more and more plot to some of the later chapters. I think it worked really well.
It would really suck if the person you knew best in an alternate reality was Batman. You would know that he would never, ever really trust you :( I think Dick is right to try to set up somewhere new, and meet new people. It sounds like he and Linda have really enjoyed meeting each other!
Comments from author:
She has a lot in common with him - in particular, he has no background in this universe, so he'll need some help setting up an identity etc., and she's recently done that and knows what's involved.

Review of chapter "Steve Jinks" from Gideon
Review:
I don't think knocking someone out and wiping their memory counts as a date. At least I hope it doesn't! A really fun short story though, Jinks ability to spot lies made the whole thing a bit trickier than it would normally have been for Supergirl but she seems to have got through it ok. And now Batman and her have another mystery to look into :)
Comments from author:
This is another one I might come back to - mostly the stuff in the Warehouse is out of Earth's past, but there might be other things there too - the missing crystals from Clark's fortress, for example.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
Nice. This universe could use a few more heroes.

James
Comments from author:
I'm not sure how many they'll end up with - this isn't the standard DC universe. On the other hand, there are several hundred super-powered girls around, Buffy and co., they might turn up again in a later story.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from Arekanderu
Review:
Nice. Very unexpected. I really loved it. All of it. I wish there was more Supergirl stuff
Comments from author:
Thanks - there's a little more on Fanfiction.net and Archive of our Own, but I can't really recommend much of it.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from eriktheviking
Review:
She definitely needs more friends for dating advice. Great fun, thanks.
Comments from author:
Well, she's finally found someone she can share her interests with, and they have a lot in common. It may work out.

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from orangemike
Review:
I, too, saw the original "Absent-Minded Professor" on first release. I often have less trouble with "ancient" references like these, than I do with the endless series of rewrites, reboots, and retcons which both major comic book continuities have suffered through in recent decades.
Comments from author:
Well, I don't think I've stuck close to Disney canon really, so I can't claim much credit. But I do rather like the idea of the box containing a lump of flubber vibrating so quickly that it's giving off massive amounts of radiation...

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from (Current Donor)RngrThorne
Review:
I have rather enjoyed this. It would be interesting to see how Robin/Nightwing/Dick gets on in this universe.
Comments from author:
He'll probably be in future stories - possibly teaming up with Jason Kent as Nightwing and Flamebird!

Review of chapter "...And One She Did" from djhardim
Review:
Very good. Was there a young boy named Tim Drake in the audience?
Comments from author:
Given that Barbara Gordon is ten years old in this universe, he's probably a toddler. Or an old man or was never born...
