Review of chapter "On Battles in Libraries and Battles in Dreams" from lunalurker
Review:
I don't have words right now for how... evil this has become. This last chapter.. I don't think I can finish this one. Which is a compliment to your writing ability, of course, but this trods too hard on buttons. Thanks for writing though.
Comments from author:
I'm glad the story was effecting, but I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't make it through whatever chapter got you stuck.
If you want to email me through my profile page, I can bridge you through it to the next chapter.
For something substantially less intense, you might try "Dreaming of How It Was Going to Be".

Review:
brilliant series and if I had any recommends left, I absolutely would.
As for the ethics of dating two slayers at once, as long as everyone knows and consents, its a blessing. Its when its all secretive, behind the back that its crap... Besides, Chris wasn't seeing Faith on theside. Vi had no reason to be angry at them. At Nancy... yes. anyhow, my thoughts on the topic for what it is worth...
thank you for the great story.
Comments from author:
Thanks; I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Next entry in this universe drops 7/30.
I think the problem people had with Chris was that he was both Vi's and Faith's psychiatrist at one point.

Very very satisfying. The turtle cheesecake of fanfic. ;)
Comments from author:
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I wish I could eat turtle cheesecake, but it upsets my stomach. Anything with caramel, anything that's that rich... oh well.
I appreciate your continued support (and reviews).

Another very nice story in the series. Here's hoping you will continue it; your choices of characters from other shows/movies have been inspired. Love to see Chef got a new gig :)
Comments from author:
My goal with crossovers is to do things people haven't done, or to do them in new ways. The next story in the series (not chronologically, but the next to be posted) is from a fandom that isn't even on the main list. And yeah, Chef just showed up as I was writing; he totally wasn't planned.
Thanks for your continued support (and reviews).

Great story and a very entertaining read. If you decide to write a sequel or follow-up, then I would love to discover what Vi or Anita is up to next.
Comments from author:
Thanks; I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
There are several follow-ups coming over the next four months, but neither Anita nor Vi are in them yet. I do have a sort-of side story for Vi but I haven't written it yet -- it'd be a crossover with The IT Crowd.

Review:
Would be funny if they did a temp binding on Nancy and the Coven managed to work with her like they did Willow. But yeah Nancy needs to be magic free for a time at least.
Comments from author:
Honestly, what bothers me about a lot of fanfic is that the Coven is used as a catchall "magic boost" for pretty much everyone. I have almost no desire whatsoever to visit them in the Onverse. That said, I have thought about returning to Nancy at some point in the future. Not quite sure WHEN, since the next several stories are basically done (the longest tops out at 8000 words, I think), but it's on my mind.
Thanks for your continued support (and reviews).

Review:
So Faith and Willow are getting better, and Sarah's being modest.
Didn't figure Vi to be a coward and run away, though.
Comments from author:
I don't think Vi is being a coward, per se. I think she just wants to get away from everything for a while. Plus -- and I admit this -- it's kind of lazy writing that I didn't assign too much motivation to her other than "I need to get her off the main stage so that, when I write more stories in this universe, I don't have to worry about the interpersonal conflicts the C/F relationship can cause".
Thanks for your review.

Review:
Thanks Listener! If Vi is off to Europe, I do hope it's with a fellow slayer or witch, as I don't think she do it by herself. Will Faith and Chris get closer, or not?
Comments from author:
Remember that Vi is in her early twenties now, and is probably pretty capable of going it on her own. Plus, I think she feels she needs to do that (go it on her own, at least for a little while).

Review:
This is just a quickie: I ought to be dealing with urgent RL matters, but some things, like reviews, are more important.
This story, like everything else of yours that I’ve read, is quite brilliant. I’ll expand on that – some other time.
Two points: at the beginning of Chapter 21 you have Faith wearing a sari on the beach. I think you must have a sarong on your mind. A sari is not exactly beachwear, but during my sojourn in Malaya (pre-Malaysia) I saw many sarongs being worn on beaches, and elsewhere.
Also, in Chapter 22 you write "which made medicine taste almost -- but not entirely -- quite unlike cherries". I seem to remember that phraseology being used of a cup of tea prepared on the Spaceship Heart of Gold, though, bearing in mind the unreliability of my memory these days, it might be elsewhere in the HGttG. I do like writers who slip these little goodies into their stories.
Comments from author:
Yes. Reviews are very important. I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
I did some googling and, yes, you're right about Chapter 21. I've gone back and changed it. You're also right about Chapter 22 -- that's exactly where I borrowed the phraseology from.

Review of chapter "On Spirits, Slayers, and Silent Vigils" from Cmiller
Review:
Okay so I just read through this, and I was getting that for the spell to work that there had to have been some sort of attraction between the victims of the spell... even though I didn't like the Chris/Faith elements I'd still like to know what's the what there.
Also I found the fact that Allison wanted to jump Faith funny, and totally hot by the way if you decide to go there. But I look forward too how you resolve this mostly because I would like to see Cameron stick around with the Council is all.
Comments from author:
The concept of the spell was in my mind pretty much from the moment I conceived the story, because I had to use it to get Chris and Faith together (the explanation as to why will be in the Author's Note on Chapter 24). I think that there would always have been some attraction between C/F because, well, on Chris's side he can see that Faith is both gorgeous and a good person, and on Faith's side she likes him as a person and respects him.
I never really thought about A/F. I suppose I could've gone that way, especially since, if you remember back in Season Three of House that there was a new doctor, Dr. Whitner, who was in a wheelchair. I think there was a little UST between her and Cameron, and I did, at the time, start work on a House story that put the two of them together (along with House and Addison Montgomery, of all people). Never finished it. But anyway, I didn't want to overcomplicate the story too much by making Allison continue to pursue Faith, especially since she only got a tiny bit of the spell.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for reviewing. A resolution to the Allison storyline is forthcoming.

Review:
Have to think the PtB are rather impressed with Faith - free-will and determination overcame evil (both times), and she's demonstrated the ability to do what's right for the side of Good, even if it means her death.
Too bad that Allison seems constantly too overwhelmed with this "new world" she's been thrown into. If she still can't deal, she needs to realize she needs to get away from it.
So, what happens to Nancy? I doubt any sudden "woe is me!" will save her from any punishment/retribution.
Comments from author:
Don't worry -- both the Allison and Nancy plotlines will be resolved before the story ends.
Thanks for your continued readership (and review-age).
