Thank you. I have been asked about a sequel, but I have a few other things that I'm working on before I think about doing one. I'm glad you liked the story and thank you for the review.
Please do a sequel. I'd really like to see what happens. Does Buffy reunite with the others or take out the bad guys by herself?
Comments from author:
I am considering a sequel, but I need to work on my other story for a little bit before biting off another long project. As far as whether she will reunite or go solo, we will both have to see ;)

At this point, if Faith isn't infected then she's a major asset. Even crazy Faith probably realizes they need to work together. Hm, and this would be before all the bad stuff she did to Buffy in S4. So, Faith woke up to all this like the guy in "28 Days Later" & "The Walking Dead"?. Would it be mean to do a "Oh yeah, Faith, this happened weeks ago, the whole world is infected now!".
Comments from author:
Lol yeah she is lucky enough to wake up to everyone being turned into flesh eating zombies. All I can say is that would suck. And yes this is all before she tried to hurt Buffy and switch bodies so there is a little less animosity than there could be.

I suppose Willow could be one of the few that takes the T-virus & it just makes them stronger etc. That might be nice. Unlikely of course. I really doubt Joyce or Giles are still alive, but miracles do happen. To contain this would take instant and serious action by the gov., and they're not going to react fast enough. Gee, I hope poor Spike wasn't down there. This is when he really needs to have just found the Gem of Amara...
Comments from author:
It would be nice if Willow could be super powered by the T virus except that her poor little neck was snapped. The Gem of Amara would have been nice, but oh well ;)

Thank you. I'm glad that you like it so far it seems to be a touchy story for some. I will try and post some more this week but I have to write two papers for my professor by tomorrow so it probably won't be until at least Wednesday.

Once again, an amazing chapter. Happy Willow is alive, but things like *specially with RE invovled* can change instantly, but still happy. Good job and can't wait to see more.
Comments from author:
I love Willow and they are about to get a surprise. Hopefully I will get some more posted on Wed, but no guarantees. Thanks for the support.

This is the way, kind of, that vampires spread their 'infection'. Maybe Walsh has isolated the vampire 'virus' & modified it? Anyway-- Buffy & Willow working together, they've got a chance now.

actually the virus would have to be mostly magical to affect Vamps in that way; due to the power requirement to keep them from dusting. Umbrella never showed any magical inclination. So to make it work it would have to be basically a rogue experiment (interesting a rogue inside of a rogue organization)
Comments from author:
It will be explained in the next couple of chapters. For this being a BtVS fan site I'm surprised that nobody has picked up on what I am doing yet. Thank you for the review and I hope the next few chapters will explain everything.

So, the T-Virus is probably part magical, not just science. Which makes sense because let's face it, there's no virus of any kind that could possibly have the effects shown in the films. This is zombie territory. It's a lot like what vampires do (infect a human, human dies, rises but 'changed') on steroids. Maybe umbrella caught some vamps, researched, and took a mutated version of their blood & made it much much stronger? Right now they're fairly well armed; she needs to locate her team. Willow most of all (magic) then Giles, Xander, her mom. Odds are it's too late for most of them, though.

always had a problem with any virus affecting a vampire; the demonic energy is clearly unaffected by anything except magic. So any virus would do nothing at all; there is no blood flow in a vampire so a virus cannot spread. Now a vamp biting a an infected victim could indeed spread a virus if it can survive outside a living body for any period of time. Would reccomend going that route over this one.
And a virus protecting a vamp from getting dusted? Sorry but that one is Alien Space Bat type of thing.
Comments from author:
The plot bunny given by cloudleonsgurl wanted things other than humans being turned. I had an issue with how to do that realistically so I am going with the vampire feeding on an infected person. As far as the vamp not getting dusted, I was going with the theory that since it mutates a humans blood so that the only way to kill it is to cause severe damage to the brain, then it would also affect the way a vamp is killed. The T Virus affects people and things differently so I wanted to illustrate that. Thank you for your comments. Constructive criticism is so much better than 'it was bad' or 'that was great'.
