-snort- I hesitate to speculate on what would have happened had Snape continued in that position (there are times to just cut your losses, this is one of them). That he was seen by so many will undoubtedly cause problems should he attempt to intimidate students in the future.

I can just see Benny (Snape) Hill running around the castle with everyone chasing him. All you needed was the female teachers with him as Snapes angels with him ogling them. Also Flitwick as the little bald guy that he was always slapping on the head.

I thought the first might have been Mr Majeika but obviously wasn't but the rest got progressively more awesome, now is only Inigo could train our boy Neville to go against Bella things could be quite a lot of fun.

I'd never heard of the character you mentioned until I looked up Mr. Majeika on Wikipedia. Basically, Snape turned into a generic college professor on the first day, since the curse was still stretching its muscles and hadn't attained its' full nastiness yet. Thanks for the review!
