Xander is exactly the type of guy to take advantage of my favorite missed opportunity in the star wars series: On the Death Star R2 is told to plug in because he should be able to access the ENTIRE IMPERIAL NETWORK. The possibilities of mayhem or "aquisition from enemy supplies" are endless. Done right, anything from self destructs being activated at random times on random ships to fake arrest/eliminate orders of "rebel spies", to orders for experimental super ships and/or fighters being dropped off unmanned for pickup in out of the way places by "covert agents". Might be a way to find/recover the Flame of Athena, too. With a full cargo of upgrades that can be installed included, of course.
