Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from DieselDriver
Review:
Weird. Good and way to short but weird.
Comments from author:
Yes, written in less than an hour on way too little sleep. Weird is probably a good way to describe it.

Review:
Nice one, Oxnate. Quick question, how did Buffy come to terms with Slaying the Texas Slayer with a Leviathan?
Comments from author:
I never decided. I'm not completely sure she knew. The craziness of battle and all. If she did, she's a much more mature girl than we saw in canon. She'll be sad, but not heartbroken. She had to take it down.

Review:
"Don't look at me in that tone of voice!" Really? Do I need to point out whats wrong with that sentence?
Comments from author:
My friends and I say that to each other all the time. Along with, "I meant what you knew." and "Procrastinate Later."

“You can't use a Dark-horse line in a Marvel universe.” Gah! Wonderful!

Poor Vi, though... :-(
Comments from author:
Thank you. And on Vi, if I had known how much people loved her, I probably wouldn't have killed her off. Lesson learned.

Review:
I haven't seen it yet (we're going tomorrow), so I'm glad it wasn't all spoilery. But I loved it and laughed at the mental image of Buffy and Thor using their hammers to bat Loki back and forth over a tennis net. (I know, no net involved, but it came with the imagery.) Thanks for sharing!

CT.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Enjoy the movie too.

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from Gideon
Review:
Glorificus the milady insane? I hope the Asgard have extremely secure mental institutions then :) The first bit was interesting too, it is not often you get two one-eyed men in the same room.
The last bit was sad though, I hope all the mini-slayers were volunteers. And I guess Alien blood doesn't count for Willows hands? lol! I reckon they deserved it though, if they are attacking Earth.
Are you still working on your other story?
Comments from author:
Well, they're a lot stronger than she is, so I suppose so. And as for the two one-eyed men, I'm not a big fan of the comics, but I understand that Nick Fury was actually white in them. Gave me a little plot bunny for Xander is Fury. We'll see.

I figure you send enough soldiers into battle - roll the dice enough times - and sooner or later someone will lose.

I haven't forgotten about it. And I hate leaving something hanging like that more than my readers do. Just waiting on the muse. I'm hoping that this idea means she's at least moved back into town. Now, if I just wine her, dine her, and then kidnap her and tie her up in my basement; then everyone will be happy.

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from (Past Donor)JoeHundredaire
Review:
It's pretty much bog standard generic "FIRSTIES!!!!" material. To borrow one of Harmony's lines from Blue Belle, there's nothing technically wrong with it, but nothing right with it either. An extreme case of Burly Detective Syndrome in the first part, which is about as attractive as cleavage-baring tops on Nicole Richie. Oh, and the standard "let's stand around and tell each other everything about ourselves scene". It then concludes with "let's tell rather than show", essentially violating the first and biggest rule of writing prose. You gave us the blurb that would go on the back of a paperback copy of a book. Where's the actual story?

EDIT: With the "it's a ficlet" defense... note the first three letters. Fic. Fiction. Ficlets still obey the rules of prose, even in miniature. Look at your three chapters. Story, albeit bad story. Story, albeit bad story. Not a story. You could have easily posted the first two bits, come back another time after you'd actually written something, and posted more. It's a blatant case of a combination of sloppiness and "FIRSTIES!" mentality, and I'm not at all shy about pointing that out.
Comments from author:
As for the story. Meh. Couldn't get back to sleep this morning because this blurb wouldn't go away. It is a blurb. Not a story. That's why it's labeled as a ficlet. Written and posted in less than an hour.

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from mackenziex
Review:
Kind of cute and some pretty funny imagery. Especially Buffy and Thor playing tennis with Loki. But do you have something against Vi, or was she the only Sunnydale potential who's name you could remember? Y'know, since you specifically mentioned squishing her. Twice. ;)
Comments from author:
Nothing against Vi at all. You're close. The only two I can remember are Vi and Kennedy and I like to assume Kennedy died shortly after leaving Sunnydale.

And technically, she was only squished once. I told you *that* she was squished first and then a slightly more detailed *how*. Mostly because it occurred to me that it was unlikely that she missed an attack from one of those things.

Nothing planned but not to either. This woke me up this morning.

Edit: That didn't make any sense. Ok: Nothing planned but I'm not promising not to either. (See what a lack of sleep does?)

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from Loeka
Review:
Just saw the movie myself, and damn, I'm still in shock of the sheer awesomeness that was branded in my brain forever
The Hulk rocks! Seriously, Bruce Banner just became my favorite super hero!
And Nick Fury is the most BAMF you'll ever meet!
... But I'm digressing...
My point is I loved this fic, and yeah, I can totally see it happen. Loved the way you portrayed Steve
And Faith! I'm not surprised the enemies ran away from her
Thanks for the nice ficlet!
Comments from author:
Thank you for the kind words. And I completely agree with you on the movie. Joss defines awesomeness encapsulated.

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from SariLane
Review:
I really really liked this. I hope you do more in the future. My only complaint would be that you spelled Nick Fury, as Furry... and it made me think of alternative sexual lifestyles with Wil Wheaton when he starred on The Guild with Felicia Day, who played Vi on Buffy. Furries are weird. Sorry. Little mental side trip.
Comments from author:
Corrected. And thank you. Didn't have quite enough sleep today.

Review of chapter "The Holey Trinity. One Chapter and yet Three." from Ironfelix
Review:
Why did Vi have to die? Why could Kennedy not have bit the big one? Besides that for just seeing the movie well done. One thing how was Samuel Jackson a Sgt Fury, after all the comics see him as a big white guy. One more thing for the purists to gripe about. TTFN
Comments from author:
I figure Kennedy's long dead by this point. :-)

Edit: Thanks for the idea about Furry being a one-eyed white guy. That gives me a lot more ideas. Mwahaha.
