The ambient level of magic in the buffyverse is nowhere close to the level of rifts earth.
EDIT:While all that is true don't forget they are using magic on the most powerful dimensional nexus on the planet, I wouldn't think those spells would as effective anywhere else.

Not in canon, but like I said in another review, there are consequences to Xander coming home. Not a lot of the Buffy-verse demons will be affected, but some will be. As time passes more will be.
I would also note that perhaps Buffy-verse magic is just as powerful as Rifts earth, PhaseWorld and WormWood. I mean look at the botched Love Spell, the Halloween spell, the Thy will be Done spell and so on. all of thos were FAR more powerful than normal spellcasters in Rifts can create.
Good flashback on the destruction of Acathla. Nice handling of Liem/Angel and getting revenge on Angelus, very nicely done! Good way to get Jenna back, I love it!

Interesting chapter, I liked the ending. It seems that Xander will be getting together with Buffy given the comments in this chapter, but what of Scott? Could he become a romance interest for Joyce? After all, even if he was Xander's age when they were spliced, he's now over 30 and would be in her age range :)
You should take out the Deadboy reference in the italicized section. You mentioned in an earlier chapter that he wouldn't use that name for Angel anymore. The Broodboy reference might be a bit close also. I'd go with Broodmaster or something.
Hope to see an update a little sooner, but if not glad to see that this isn't dead at least. Thanks for the update.

Thank you, i missed that particular Deadboy reference.
Both Xander and Scott are mentally in their thrities ( as much as Xander could ever be that age) but don't appear that old. Plus, Scott has a lot of Xander's memories, and while Xander would say Joyce is very hot, she's also a lot like the mother he'd wished he had.
I am sorry about the delay, i am still recoving from a very trying ordeal. I'll leave it to say that if anyone ever says your lips are blue call the ambulance save your self a funny looking scar.
