I do a little work on this when I'm stuck on my other stuff. I hope to have another chapter out fairly soon. There won't be as big a gap between chapters 2 & 3 as there was between 1 & 2!
Cheers, D.

Hehe. Nice. I dig how you've meshed Buffy and the Alestorm shenanigans together. I can see Xander being "Shipwrecked" though, I wouldn't have complained about some 'Captain Harris Revenge either... though given he wasn't a captain...
Cool stories though. Gotta love Alestorm
Comments from author:
Yep when I have some time to do some more to this 'Shipwrecked' is on the list.
Cheers, D.

Xander lands on an island rich in natural resources. Fortunately, despite his grades, he is a very well read individual. Starting with just his knife and the clothes on his back, he gradually makes everything he needs to survive (like the characters in Jules Verne's _Mysterious Island_).
Years pass. Xander is leading a very comfortable, if solitary existance. During his travels, he stumbles across a Lazarus Pit and falls in. The experience unlocks his hidden abilities from his various possessions and rejuvenates him. The now younger Xander changes his name to Ra's al Ghul.
In the meanwhile, Buffy, having all but given up on ever seeing Xander again, marries a wealthy trader by the name of Wayne....
I'm not sure what odd and heathen chemicals you are a putting in your ale, but you really need to share with the rest of the class. Jolly good fun. I'm just glad Anya didn't come along or she'd have total economic control over the whole 'Spanish Main' by now. Suddenly I am hearing the song from the musical '1776', "Molasses to run to slaves" going off in my mind.
I loved the Star Wars rip-off, I mean 'omage'.
Comments from author:
I thought you were going to your bunk.
Yep, who knows maybe Anya will turn up, who knows I certainly don't.
The next part, which I'm going to try and write tomorrow is based on 'The Black Freighter' a fun tale of death, pirate raids and...oh yes murder!
Cheers, D.

could see this as a full story. wonder if Xan would be lucky to find some sea turtles...and a cache of rum (heh)
keep up the good work.
Comments from author:
I've sort of worked out some other stories for this with Xander maybe doing a desert island fic at some point. I do these little stories as a sort of break from my main work. Eventually I'll sort them into a proper interconnected series of stories.
Lol! A nice and enjoyable scurvy tale of piratical evil. ARRR! It be a good tale to tell on a becalmed day. No idea of what the ... heck was going on, but Cap'n Buffy, being the driver we know she was, she must be the Terror of the Seven Seas! Lol!
Comments from author:
I've got one more Scury Tale writen so I might post that tonight, it sorta explains how Buffy got to be where she is.
Yep I can see Buffy's ship zigzagging all over the ocean confusing the hell out of the Spaniards.
Cheers, D.

Well he has plenty of swimming experience. I wonder if he was really angry, or understood what was going on. El Supremo? Reminiscent of Hornblower, that.
Thanks for writing.
Comments from author:
El Supremo...well it just so happens that I have this plan for this fic where...
I can see I'm going to have to write a few more of these 'Scurvy Tales'.
Cheers, D.
