I'd say it was the bad mojo of the knife as much or moreso than the intelligence factor that allowed them to see her as the same person. Or perhaps they speculated incorrectly. Perhaps is only when both are in the same room that people don't see them as looking the same.

The tracking down doubles part of the story isn't as interesting as the Faith on surfing vacation and BBT crossover part of the story.

Great way to work in Eliza's character from "That Night", her first movie. Truly imaginative.

Well, despite Faith's grumbling, she did have nearly 2 weeks of fun before being asked to do something. Nice establish, and having something other than finding called slayers on her agenda.

Good solution to plot problem. Only other way would have been to say that the knife negated the 'don't see it' mystical problem.

Um...if Muggles don't recognize the various doppelgängers when they run into them, why did Raj, Leonard, Sheldon and Howard think that Faith was Agent Page?

(As for the suggestion that someone recognize Faith as one of the cheerleaders from Bring it On, I think they'd be more freaked by another one of the girls on that squad being Glory.)

Aside from coming face to fanged face with an actual vampire, one of the other factors which can prevail over Sunnydale Syndrome is to have such a high level of intelligence to make you become aware of the things other, less-gifted people usually miss. The gang at the apartment had enough sheer brainpower to acknowledge their guest as the lovely woman they'd earlier met. As the smartest of them all, Sheldon might've felt something odd was happening, but given his superlative incompetence at dealing with normal society, he probably paid no attention to it, since this wasn't all that interesting, unlike a good hack-and-slash quest on WoW.

lol. I was hoping that you'd bring up the Dopplegangers from HIMYM. Although I was hoping to see a scene where Ted and/or Barney ends up hitting on Faith, Dawn, Buffy or any combination of them. After all, they're not the Dopplegangers, they could safely be approached by a Sunnydaler. ;)

If you want to get weird, have scoobies constantly seeing Echo -and each time thinking it's a different double. So they end up thinking she's got dozens of doubles in california.
Hm, Giles has a double in England (based on a Dr Who ep) ...
