I definitely enjoyed the story, although it suffers from the usual will they won't they and the Buffy Gets Pregnant trope. Still, strong writing and a compelling story kept me interested the entire way through.

I'm slugging through all the fabulous Buffy/Dean fics on here and I just finished this one and blargh! So pretty! I love, love the idea of it - you managed to write it so nicely so that what Buffy was feeling was Dean missing. Oh man, it was like her heart was ripped out and that matched perfectly with how she felt in S6, lovely correlation with that! It was fun reading them getting to know each other at first, it was so innocent and sweet and all the actions made more sense the more we started to understand about what was happening. It's so weird reading him that way because I write him so much harder lol - this is NOT a bad thing, please don't take it that way! :P I made myself not read anything for a while so I didn't accidentally siphon off someone else's story lol but I figured, enough was enough and you did a great job with Dean at 22 - he's yet to be so damn jaded as he is in later seasons and it was just... so sweet, to read it that way!

And what a twist! Haha! A very nice idea, I loved it.

He is so angry and damaged now I have to rewatch season one spn just to get some frame of mind.

Your story was so good! Although, I wanted to kill you when Dean came out of his coma and found Buffy in Sunnydale and she didn't remember him. Thanks for the happy ending! I'm really glad she finally remembered him.

Aww it's finally done. I read both endings as well. While I liked this ending, the other one felt more satisfying.

Very tidy and lovely ending. All around great read. I wonder if stealing Buffy's memory of Dean made this meeting all the sweeter and saving Deans life in the process. The take John and Bobby have on the Slayer and its demonic influence is strange and I would like to see this story move on to that revelation.
