The idea is good up to a point, Xander dresses as Dumbledore, keeps memories and powers, realizes Harry is being mistreated/used by Albus, rescues him.
FORGET A ROMANCE BETWEEN HARRY AND XANDER! Those of you who must have slash please write the story of Lucius buggering Draco, its much more realistic. Malfoy Sr. is the kind to do it and that would explain why Malfoy Jr is such a waste of flesh.
What comes next is backstory, training after the rescue, Albus and other wacked out wizards response, the beat down of said wizards, finding attacking killing Tom, dealing with the remaining DE's, purebloods, and corrupt Ministry, Willow does a spell to snap every wand on earth at some point, Hecate sends most wand wavers to the naughty corner. Harry gets married to a slayer.

I like it so far and it was a little disappointing to have the story state that it was finished. It leaves much to be wrapped up and I hope that you decide to add more chapters.

That's it?! Come on, you have the potential to take this even further than you have! Are you going to write a sequel to this story? It was very well done you know.

Interesting and intriguing, but it feels really fragmentary to me. I'll be the first to admit I find drabbles pointless and annoying, but honestly I was left at the end of this going "Huh? Where's the rest of it?"
In my opinion it would work as a first chapter, as a stand alone story...not so much.
(I would like to see more)

THAT'S IT?! There's no explanation of how Xander even knew about Harry Potter, let alone how to find Sirius Black? Or how he knew Dumbledore was stealing from Harry? How he got into Hogwarts without Dumbledore knowing about it? All the paintings report to him you know! And why he felt such a need to interfere? WHAT A LOUSY WAY TO END A FIC THAT HAD SUCH POTENTIAL!
