Review of chapter "Shadow of the White Knight Part 2" from djhardim
Review:
Not bad, I think I would have asked for Slayer level healing in addition to everything else. When you consider the abuse that Xander's body will be subjected to, he's going to need it.

It almost seems that Jessie's death is punishment for dusting Darla.

Suggested Alter-egos

Faith - Huntress

Willow - Batgirl/Oracle.

Any way you look at it, they have a long road ahead of them, especially Faith and Willow.

Right now, Xander is roughly the right age for a Robin, about thirteen to fourteen years.

If you haven't read it, here's an interesting story on Tim Drake's training.

"Twenty Four Months" bys82.

It takes two years to go from Tim Drake to Robin.

Great story so far, I'm looking forward to reading more. I really hope xander straightens willow out, although her going all dark-side early at least she won't be throwing major mojo around, and maybe it'll keep her from going dark-side later.

Re read this; liking it but really hoping that you get more separation between Batman and Xander's version. As has already been noted, Xander will not hesitate to kill to protect his family and innocents, whereas the early Batman had no qualms whatsoever about reversing the villains' death traps so that if they initiated them, they would die by the very thing they created. It has only been since around the era of the Comics code that Batman got on his 'I don't kill even if it would save future lives' - see every Joker escape and murder spree for the results of that little piece of idiocy...

Faith can help keep Xander on the Gray side of the line - neither a Boy Scout, ineffective at saving so many, nor a 'Kill'em all 'cause they broke a law' mode; a pair fighting for the innocents, but willing to do what needs to be done.

As for the villains, I hope you limit them, after killing off Joker and Wayne; the Bat Clan To Be has enough on their plates with a freaking Hellmouth; extra headaches in the form of costumed lunatics are totally unnecessary - especially since there's another player in the game screwing things up already.

Now I grant that the image of Cordelia in a body hugging outfit as Catwoman, determined to make up for everything stolen from her due to her parents' greed and stupidity and then abandonment is a good image, so hows about that for a suggestion? 'Cause who ever said that in this Timeline she didn't get a clue and put the pieces together for herself long before the I.R.S. came a knockin'? She could be snooping... er, attending to her financial studies and made the discovery along with Mommie Deariest and Daddy Useless' Bug Out Plans...

And Willow is going to be taking pot shots in a courtroom? A place where the Mayor /has/ to have all sorts of stuff to prevent things like that, if only for his own protection? PLEASE tell me that Xander and Faith get a clue and stop this before it starts, or you're going to have the stereotypical Oracle being created when it is so unnecessary! That or Willow getting gunned down by the Mayor's attack dogs, again, unnecessary to the story.

Let her think about this before she finds out the murderer escaped and decide to do something else, since guns at close range are a bad idea - 'cause doubting academics like the Rosenburg parents ever allowed her to touch a firearm, much less learn to shoot. The escape can give her motivation to become something else, neither phony Wiccan/lapsed hacker in canon, nor even Batgirl... Huntress maybe? Black Canary type, complete with wig to throw off attention as well as not allowing bad guys to grab her by the hair successfully... Hell, create your own, or hit up Marvel's stable of Fighting Females...

But keep on keeping on with this; I likes it!

I'd say uh-oh on Willow's behalf. Xander was trying so hard to increase her sense of security and confidence. Not only was Darla in Sunnydale earlier than expected - Jessie got killed sooner than in the series.

This Thomas Wayne Jr. wrinkle is interesting. Sad for Xander, but dusting Darla did save lives even if the PTB tried to balance it out by bringing in a villian. Wouldn't Xander be physically 13 and Faith 11 or 12 now, even with their adult memories?

Hmm... red hair... has a bone to pick with bad guys... but, no, that'd be too cliche. On the other hand... Robin or Batgirl? :D

Review:
I like that Xander was able to use his skills that they don't talk about as much - such as dealing with dead bodies. He probably even knew some "consecrating" prayers of some kind. Also interesting that there was a Wayne family and that it is possible that Bruce Wayne is still alive out there somewhere - just not on the road to becoming Bat-Man.

Review:
I don't know after reading this chapter. Things were going along pretty good, but when you brought Faith into it something wasn't clicking.

It might just be the lovey dovey attitude she's got going on, but I'll wait to see how things play out for now.

Interesting start, looking forward to where this will go.

Did notice some grammar and punctuation errors so I would suggest keeping a closer eye out for those.

The Powers are trying to keep things in a desperate near-loss for everyone, I see.

Owlman, Jokerz, making sure Jesse died anyway? Bitches are trying to break him.

(I do like the irony of Faith calling herself Robin after dating Robin Wood, though..)
