The idea of Faith as Bruce’s daughter is simple but effective even without the additional complication of the villains’ plot (Even if I’m suspicious about the idea of even Lex Luthor being able to capture the Phantom Strange on his own), and while I’m slightly uncertain about why Gotham would NEED a Slayer- to say nothing of a Slayer academy- considering the very public-yet-secret reputation of Batman, the initial meetings between father and daughter certainly work.
The prophecy adds another interesting edge to the situation, suggesting that the villains’ schemes aren’t just the result of a group deciding to coordinate their efforts but the result of external influence by another source, as well as giving the JLA a reason to coordinate with the Slayers even before Faith learned of her true parentage and you included Circe’s confrontation with whatever’s really behind all this (Although I’m not that sure about the implication of Bane being stronger than the Beast; he might be bigger, but surely the Beast’s strength would be supernatural where Bane’s at this point is just the kind of strong that anyone could be if they were REALLY focused on training, considering his resolve to abstain from Venom).
Still, ambiguity about a few cross-continuity details regarding power-VS-power match-ups, aside- and I DEFINITELY don’t agree with the idea that Luthor knows who Batman is, although it’s possible it’s one of those items of knowledge he acquired from his ‘backer’-, there’s definitely some interesting moments, particularly when Faith’s confrontation with Zsasz opens up some disturbing potential wounds or when the Council take action against the League, to say nothing of your final revelation about who the villain actually is (An oldie, but a goodie).
You could have explored the aftermath of the conflict in more detail than you did, but all in all, an excellent story with some interesting ideas; keep up the good work!
...Any chance of a sequel looking at Batman meeting Angel or Faith meeting her biological brother?

Wow, nice payoff. Glad I was following this. Uh, any chance of a sequel?
Comments from author:
A sequel? Wish there was, but I haven't any idea where to take it. Faith's got her win back over Bane, Joker's dead, and Ghul's been dealt with. So really, the Batman's villains gallery has been decimated. On the other hand, something like Final Crisis, with Faith\Xander in the middle of the trouble, squaring up to Darksied (or at least on the fringes of any battle), might work. We'll see!
Thanks for the review.

Well, the Prince of Darkness has been disposed of, thanks to Mr. Terrific and Superman. And I think that Rah's Al Ghul is about to have a LIVING NIGHTMARE! When you threaten the Dark Knights daughter, you are going to be in for some SERIOUS trouble! And you did leave one small plotline hanging for us: What happened to the Spectre? Was he destroyed in the battle or is he back on the job after some recovery time?
Comments from author:
Heh, I have to admit I forgot about the Spectre. However you could assume with the destruction of Lucifier\Luthor any spells powering his prison would dissipate.
Thanks for the review.

Nice job on the last chapter(YOU GHOSTBUSTED LUCIFER!), wish you didn't make it a cliffhanger though. Also you have a problem with the quote "You do like this those"; what is that supposed to be/mean?
Comments from author:
The quote refers to Mr. Terrific who uses a lot of pocket dimensions in his work. It does make sense if you know Terrific, if not I guess it might not look right.
Thanks for the review.
