Review of chapter "Coming Closer (Buffy/Dean)" from superslayer
Review:
Gorgeous and love the image ofDean you picked - the expression on his face is so classic and how I picture him when he wants to avoid something.

Do you ever take requests? Amazing work, always in awe of yoyr creations.
Comments from author:
Thank you for that awesome feedback! I do much agree about his face, that was the perfect scene of consternation for him, it worked well for the mood of the piece. Thank you! :)

I do take requests but I should warn you first! I'm very opinionated, lol, in that I try my damnedest to make it to your specifications but sometimes my mind just... takes off without me. But I'm willing to try many times if you have something specific in mind! So the short answer is yes, I'm happy you're interested.

Thank you! :)

Review of chapter "Poison (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
Red! I love, love the color red. It's always a winner with me and this wall doesn't fail to deliver on that front. :) While I adore the pairing of Buffy and Dean I've always been hesitant to think they'd make it in the long run. They're both so damn stubborn at times and think their way is always the best way with a complete disregard to other's opinions at times.

So I think they'd, eventually, have a huge fallout--of course I've heard makeup sex is fun. ;)
Comments from author:
Didn't it work brilliantly with this concept?! The red is lovely here and thank you, thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :D And I completely agree. It's interesting reading all the fanfiction where Buffy/Dean get their happy ending and both of them have changed quite drastically to make that happen - I much more like the idea of them falling apart all the time. Lol.

And lol! And I have no doubt that Buffy/Dean would be fantastic at that whole "makeup sex" thing - especially after a blowout like this one appears to be...

Review of chapter "A Whisper (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
First: Where are these battles taking place? Because I need to know where to go to watch and admire all the shiny.

Second: I love the use of color in this one. It draws the eyes to Buffy, but it doesn't detract from the story you're telling. The layer black and white layers added a lot of depth and the very faded image of Dean (I'm assuming is supposed to be of the moment that lands him in the hospital) is just an added treat!

Thank you for sharing!
Comments from author:
Ah, an excellent question indeed! The forum is BuffyForums: http://www.buffyforums.net/forums/index.php Although you need to be a member of the site to look at the Fanart section as many times people have just come on and taken wallpapers and pranced off with them... Lol.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the concept behind this wall, it was intensely difficult for me not having my safety net to catch me (also known as textures). And yes, it is! Part of the battle was using the other person's wall before yours and her wall fit perfectly in with the idea of this. Thank you for taking time to review my lowly artwork, lol, it means a lot! :D

Thank you!!! I'm so glad you like them and thank you for the amazing compliment! Especially on the blending, I sometimes go overboard on that part :P

Review of chapter "Ghost (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
And now I like searching your works for the hidden images (kinda like searching for the hidden Mickey Mouse images at Disney World). I'm greatly enjoying how the stained glass image in the shower curtain and the lyrics used drastically change the images from something amusing to something haunting. Kudos.
Comments from author:
Thank you for the awesome review on this wall - I'm glad the haunting aspect came through. The piece had so much potential for being a happy, go-lucky and the ficlet that went along melted my heart with cuteness (I... can't remember who wrote it and I'll feel like an ass if it was you... LOL) but I loved the idea of Dean behind haunted by happy memories. Thanks for the review (as always)! :)

Review of chapter "Finding Her (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
The image of Buffy appears to be looking down on Dean. He might be searching for her in this, but it looks like once he finds her she watches out for him. :)

I really like the image of window and the brightness it adds. I like how the coloring carries through to the image of Buffy and I've always been a sucker for the scene in which she eats the can of fruit in Anne. I love the use of that silhouette.
Comments from author:
I love your interpretations of my walls, lol. I definitely love that, I was certainly going for the feeling that she is surrounding him no matter what. Me too for the Anne scene! It's so gorgeous and I love how much it adds. Thank you for reviewing this wall! :)

Review of chapter "Wanna Tell Me (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
Wish!Buffy! She's my favorite Buffy! That being said there's a lot of dramatic moments in this piece. I'm particularly liking the broken window that is a part of Dean's images. I'm drawing parallels between the broken glass and the broken future Dean's finding himself in.

Great job!
Comments from author:
Thanks! That was the intention! And also, the stock was just too pretty to not use for that very reason, especially at the center and in the direct line of sight. I'm glad you like, thank you!

Review of chapter "Only If For A Night (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
I'm digging the casual use of red in this one. I think the white negative space highlights the images used so it adds rather than detracts like the previous work. Plus I'm fond on Jensen Ackles when he has a beard so that instantly won this artwork extra points.
Comments from author:
Mmm, oh yes, the Jensen beard. I love me some Jensen beard, it was why I chose this over a "normal" SPN promo picture. :P That is such a fantastic interpretation compared to the Won't You Let Me Know wall as far as the negative space. It's more "open" compared to that wall, definitely. Thank you for the awesome review!

Review of chapter "No Light (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
For some reason, I think it's the arched images of Buffy, that make me think this abuse has more of a pattern to it and therefore it's reoccurring. I know that's not the concept you were going for, but it's what I'm taking away from the image.

Gotta love the interpretation of others. ;)
Comments from author:
That is a most fascinating interpretation, lol. I never even thought of it that way. I think when I made that, I was more going to the shock of the moment, what was happening and who it was happening to. So that is awesome to hear such a different take on it. Lol.

Review of chapter "Trouble (Buffy/Dean)" from Mercury
Review:
I think this one is my favorite yet! Wonderful use of color and different pictures.
Comments from author:
Wonderful! Thank you! It was the most challenging as far as creating a story to go along with it. Thanks!

Review of chapter "Tear You Apart (Buffy/Dean)" from Mercury
Review:
Wow, that's beautiful! I how you used color in this, with Buffy grey, Dean colored, the blood splatters and the black and white.
Comments from author:
Thank you very much! I wasn't sure about the concept of the wall, so this is wonderfully gratifying! :P

Review of chapter "Trouble (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
I like how one of the holes in the walls cuts through the image of a smiling Buffy. Feels very telling or I might be reading far too much into it. :) The notebook entry of 'Left Sunnydale. Never coming back.' is a nice touch and very reminiscent of the early seasons of Supernatural. I'm partial to those ones.
Comments from author:
You are in fact not reading too much into it! This was a wallpaper where I put more thought into it than I probably should have and added a little more than was likely necessary. But I'm glad it's coming across at all. Thanks!

Review of chapter "Tear You Apart (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
There's something nicely disturbing about the use of blood in this image. Plus who doesn't like a beaten up Dean Winchester?
Comments from author:
Word. Thank you! It definitely added a sort of... darkness I wasn't expecting myself. Thanks!

Review of chapter "Won't You Let Me Know (Buffy/Dean)" from (Moderator)Ava
Review:
Is it odd that I'm most curious about the keys? Where do they lead? What doors are they locking?

I'm not always a fan of this much negative space, but this image works for me. I think it balances the business of the top corner and makes me wish there was more to look at.
Comments from author:
I'm not going to lie, I have no idea what they mean to this piece. They can be interpreted to mean many things, especially considering what the text suggests. This was made to be pretty, TBH, and it was a neat thing to add in there, it gave it a different meaning as a whole. Thank you for the feedback! I, myself, am an avid negative space whore for these kinds of pieces, and it's nice to get this in response. :)
