Wonderful! I like how you have managed to keep Draco's voice consistent even as you turn his actions from one extreme to the other. We can see how desperately confused he is by his own feelings and sympathise with the difficult choices he is making - to turn his back on everything he has ever known. I imagine that Hermione knows these things about him almost better than he knows himself.

Very nicely done. I particularly enjoyed watching Draco trying to justify what he wanted in terms of what a Malfoy should do. Turning all that selfish arrogance on its head by wanting Hermione to be happy was typically, beautifully Slytherin. Thank you!
