Interesting, though I don't know the crossover at all. Nice to see some use for those vampiric powers (e.g. scent) that are usually ignored.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is basically a sequel to Civilization. Your starship reaches AC and then the whole ships starts fighting each other and different factions land in different places. It is still one of my favourite games.
