Outstanding, hardly anything else to say.

You caught the people as most see them, and wrote a story I can see happening in all its tragic glory.

Gods help both Giles and Buffy when Willow has time to think about this...

Now that was a twist I did not see coming, a different take on the gang doing the fighting without Buffy. Xander gets turned, would have been nice to see him loose control and turn Willow and thus making him realize there is no other choice he stakes himself and Willow just as she awakened. Buffy comes back and is devastated by the news of what her weakness has brought. still nicely done and nice to see some new stuff from you.

Awww... Poor Willow.

I can totally see Xander in that situation, with control, doing that...

On the other hand, HE'S AN IDIOT for doing so! If he has control, he can use the power for good!

Have you considered doing an alternate version where he goes the other way... might be interesting seeing him constantly have to fight his nature... ;)

yeah he could have...but his main reason here was to make sure he would never hurt his family...and he didn't know why he had control or for how long
