Thank you for the review though. It took a fair bit of time to get it out between five courses, three labs, and 4 hours of sleep per night, lol...I'm going to fall over dead one day.

An interesting take, and nice to see Simon maturing a little faster than in canon. Curious - will he still 'hire' the crew to raid Ariel, and will Jayne still be willing to betray them? How much more could they do without that betrayal? Or will it still be as scrambled, with someone recognizing Riddick?
I love what you are doing with this fic. You mesh the two worlds quite well and believable, and I like how you develop Jack's character. And all those Jack and Jayne Cobb-jokes in the making...yay!

I actually did mean to post this up on FF, but it didn't really fit in with things. I might end up with two different stories, one a little darker and grittier, one a little funnier and light hearted.

Far from my favorite episode, also, but you made it much better! Well done.
Looking forward to seeing what happens when Riddick meets River face to face, and particularly if Riddick decides that Jayne's not a good enough husband-to-be for his 'little sister'.
In case I forgot to mention earlier, I really like the way you depict River's thought processes and speech.

The idea of the events of ‘Riddick’ and ‘Firefly’ taking place in the same universe has been done before, but your twist on it is certainly original, and the dynamics you’re creating for Jack and the rest of the crew seem to be promising so far...
