Not a bad story by any means, but all in all this seemed rather hasty. There were definitely points where you told rather than showed, and a few places where your punctuation went bananas (the summary is particularly bad, and I nearly didn't read the story as a result). Slow down!

It's a fair point and I have sort help. The summary has now been changed so I thank you for your point. The great irony is last year I struggled to write a 1000 words and now I struggle to keep it under 3,000.
