Just found this while search for a story. Lucky me. Very witty little story. So liked the SG characters being so confounded over magic. Willow dropping in to retrieve them' a classic. Thankyou.

At first I thought you were saying that Dawn was blonde! Xander and Dawn are lucky that Willow was able to play backup and get them out of there, cause that might have been - time consuming, yeah, lets go with that :)

Were they even in their own Reality when they dropped in on the S.G.C.? 'Cause i STILL insist that both Jack and Daniel have had a number of past run ins with the Bibbity Bobbity Boo Crowd and the surrounding environs thereof.
Which means they'd have some memories they'd probably rather not have of magic, demons, vamps, etc., so this would annoy them more than freak them out. Plus I'd bet Jack would eventually track down Xander and Willow, if not Dawn, by sheer stubbornness if nothing else, to get an explanation and advice on how to better secure the base...
On the other hand, an Alternate Reality S.G.C. with science-based threats only would really freak, and there's no way in hell either Jack or Carter would truly erase all records of this event. Too much threat potential here, as pointed out by Jack many times.
I suspect Carter would actually see it as a fascinating research opportunity. And they would certainly look for ID matches on security camera videos, fingerprints, etc.
