Thank you for this great update. Touching and funny at the same time.
Tony doesn't understand what having a friend in Buffy means. She would never judge him, she never did that with her other friends so why would she do it to him. Nope Tony needs to find out that when Buffy consider you worthy to be her friend and she trust you. She will back you up. It won't mean you can do whatever you please no it will mean when you do something she trust you enough that there will be a good reason why you do something or act in a way. There will be talking involved afterwards because she wants to know the whys etc.
So he doesn't know what it means to have Buffy's friendship and trust. Well it will be good for both of them. Now do tell what did Tony do to gain this friendship because Buffy can find somebody nice etc. but to consider Tony as a friend needs more. So what did he do and he was probably unaware that he did it.
Can't wait what will be next.
