Morlun may have been portrayed like that once in Marvel, but from what I know of the character it's pretty unlikely he ever will be again. Seriously, he's one of those guys destined to be used to make other villains look good if he's ever actually seen again.

True.
Judging from the few occasions he'd been seen since his initial appearance, and the way they killed him off and then brought him back, Morlun is going to end up as the character who only shows up to let his opponent demonstrate just how uber-badass they've become.

did not think much of it. Typical crossover where the one coming in is so dominant
you made him into a Gary Stu
But hey if that is what floats your boat.
Comments from author:
I don't make Morlun a Gary Stu. He is portrayed that way in the canon Marvel universe.
And if you're referring to Xander, that was part of the original challenge's points to include.
And why is it okay to super-up all of the other characters, but not Xander? Willow started out as a run of the mill hacker adn became almost the embodiment of the Earth Mother, power-wise. Buffy got her ass kicked in when she first went up against a Turok-Han, then later wasted them easily and repeatedly. I won't even bother mentioning the way Spike was deified in the series.
Why is is only when Xander is powered up, and is powered up while staying in canon compliance of the established universe, that someone complains?
Smacks of hypocrisy to me.

I have always liked stories about Xander, heroic Xander being the best, and this certainly was unexpected. The characters were very much in keeping with canon and this story was right up with Gray wizard's others, top notch. Thanks for a great read.

Glad you enjoyed the story. It was definitely fun to write. ;-)

Good read; one of my favorite parts is the mink joining Anya. And the moth going to Willow . . . so is her new code name Mothra? It is a good place to stop, but you could add more to this too. Thanks

That could be her new nickname, but *I'm* not telling her that. ;-)
Anything more is up to my muse.
