I was thrilled when I discovered this. I was intrigued and excited by a crossover set early in the histories of both shows.
The premise you use for launching this crossover actually makes a lot of sense, and you develop it well. SG-1’s cover ID’s are sensible, and everyone is in character.
Teal’c’s new boss seems a bit of an odd duck – a Sunnydaler who is actually suspicious about (or at least displays a modicum of caution concerning) a newcomer? That does not seem to be a common trait there. Then again, you’d think _somebody_ would learn.
The only really disappointing part about the story is its unfinished nature.
There are some minor faults – “Colonel O’Neill” is habitually mis-spelled with the ‘i’ in front of the ‘e’, and you refer to the ‘Inca Mummy Girl’ – or rather, the poor unfortunate whose identity she stole - as ‘Impada’ where every other source I’ve seen gives the name as Ampata.
Still, I enjoyed this very much, and I really hope to see you continue it.

This is a very good start. I like how you have it set in the earlier Buffy seasons instead of the later ones. Not that I don't like those stories as well it is just I see few where they are set in the early seasons. The Inca mummy espisode is a prefect pretense for the SG to be interested. They would of course would never believe it was magic or supernatural. I can't wait until they see Spike/Dru this should be very good. Update soon

Oooooh, another BtVS/SG1 fic, YAY. Great going so far. Both Buffy and Stargate characterisation is good. I like the way you used the Inca mummy Girl incident to bring in the SG1 team. Looking forward to more.

I do hope you'll continue with this story, so far it is very good. Your characters are "true" and the plot is promising. It's a lot more subtle than most Buffy/Stargate crossovers, and it's always fun to find a story set in the early years. Oh, and I love Snyder's line about not letting anything eat him without a fight!

Not bad, though if you ever do a rewrite maybe Xander should recognize the military thing after his Halloween experience and what's up with the 4:30 classes?

Excellent story so far. I'm looking forward to see more interactions between the Scoobs and SG-1. I hope we get to see in the next chapter a bit about the speculations the Scoobies come up after the meetings that have takne place so far - and i wonder how far off they will be...
And of course I eagerly anticipate SG-1's initiation into the "nightlife"... that should be interesting :)
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

This has a wonderful beginning premise. The writing style was pleasing to the eye and easy to read. No visible spelling errors made it only that much more enjoyable. So - in not so many words - "Loved it, looking forward to more".
