This is very good: it has an interesting plot and well-drawn and attractive characters, and it’s thoroughly literate – in fact, it’s just what I expect from a grundy story.
But what’s this nonsense about the End? This is only a beginning: it really mustn’t stop now – I want, I need to know what happens next!
Please?

Ok, I'm sorry, but we're going to have to require a large sequel from you. Just imagine 'show and tell' with Dawn bringing in Clem & others like Spike. heh. Or a DADA class where they're told some type of demon is just a myth, and Dawn can say she's met one. Or that talisman sticks really do corporealize angry spirits. Etc etc. Imagine her remarking on how much safer Hogwarts is than Sunnydale High ever was. It's just too bad that Snape can't be there; won't be the same place without him scowling & deducting points.

I can't promise a large sequel- would you settle for a series of smaller ones?

A very strong start to what looks like will be a great read. I love that Dawn is nervous but clever, and isn't trashing any of her family and non-blood family as many authors seem to like to do. It is well-written with a nice natural flow, and feels like it's going to be a well-reasoned character-driven story. So yay!

Thanks! Dawn will definitely not be trashing any of her family in this fic.

You know, in all the crossovers with HP, I think yours is the first to put Dawn there post-Voldie. Good twist-I can definitely see her getting along with the others and at least somewhat understanding each other.

Really? That's surprising. It seems like such a natural time to put them together, unless you're determined to keep the canon timelines for both...
