Good for Kate -- she's taking this well, all things considered. And very good for Buffy and friends, easing her into one earth-shattering revelation before she has to face the next one. :)

Buffy and the Scoobies have enough experience with earth-shattering revelations to know that dropping the supernatural on top of Kate right after 'sorry the world thinks you're dead now, but it's probably safer if you play along' wouldn't go well...

it's not easy for Kate to understand everything right now but it will become easier for her...
Buffy is right... Kate is not ready for their life story yet... she's in for quite a shock...

Buffy and the Scoobies are doing their best to ease Kate into her new life. I can't promise how soon it will be posted, but more is definitely in the works.

I was so glad to see an update to your very twisted but interesting story. Since Ziva's and Ari's father was just killed on NCIS will you finally let your Ziva know she still has a brother?

I know the rest of the NCIS gang can never know, but I just think Ziva should be told her brother was not a Bad Guy and she didn't have to kill him. I would also love to see Kate helping out the Slayers with some bizarro mystery.

Edit: I just read your sequel to this story. I liked it but you already are filling in your story so never mind my comments. Although, it would be nice to see Ari's reaction to their father's death.

Thanks for the review- I'm glad you found the sequel! My plan is to continue filling both in, showing how Kate survived (and did not kill Ari) and also Ari and Ziva's reunion.

NCIS killing off Eli was a surprise- I almost posted a short piece showing Ari's reaction (because of course he was the first person Ziva called) but decided to hold off until I finished more of this and "Bring Up Your Dead".

Very good so far. I think Kate may be (if you'll pardon me giving you an idea) having some flashbacks to the NCIS pilot episode... you know, when she first met Gibbs and them and dealing with the way they do things. Meeting Buffy and the gang would probably be something similar enough to jar that particular memory...

I don't know about flashbacks, but it has to be similarly disorienting... especially once Buffy gets around to answering the question she told Kate to put on hold.

it seems that Ms Todd finally managed to understand that they are serious about her being dead for the whole world...
things will surely be very strange for her but they will also be quite interesting ^_^

She does indeed... and it will get interesting, because Ari will be joining them soon. (Sooner, if I get any decent writing time this week.)
