Review of chapter "This Dear World of Wonder (Peter Pan)" from Dmitri
That was very twisted - thanks for sharing it.
Comments from author:
*laughs* I rather agree, Dmitri. And when I saw the prompt, I thought "huh, that's messed up". But then it was stuck in my brain and I really really wanted to write it. I think I might have taken it a few extra steps from the initial intent by having the mermaids eat the corpses, but my brain is a place that -I- have never claimed to understand. *snorts*

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Review of chapter "This Dear World of Wonder (Peter Pan)" from CPTSkip
Wow! Your version of the Peter Pan story is even more chilling than the one told on Once Upon a Time. Well done.
Comments from author:
I've heard good things about the show (doesn't it have some Buffy people involved in the writing?) - but never seen it. I'm glad you enjoyed my little bit though, CTPSkip - I really like dipping my toe in the darker things every once in a while. Quite fun. *grins*

Review of chapter "I Dream of My Own Making (Aurora/Maleficent)" from Dmitri
Well, I got a feeling that Maleficent was rather surprised, especially at the beginning, but the two of them made it work all the same. BTW, are you excited about the upcoming Maleficent film too?
Comments from author:
Yes! I love that they are centering it around her - telling the story from the POV of the villain of the classic story. I am remarkably disconnected from most advertisements these days, and honestly only just heard about the movie when I was looking up specific bits for this fic. But it does look remarkably awesome - and the casting choices seem to work well to from the pictures I've seen.

As for my fic though - she was surprised, but I rather wanted the tables to be turned. For Aurora to have some control, whereas in cannon she spends much of the time utterly in the dark, and then just asleep with people fighting for her destiny.

Thanks for taking the time to review, Dmitiri!

Review of chapter "I Dream of My Own Making (Aurora/Maleficent)" from MarcusSLazarus
Interesting twist, I'll give you that (And actually makes a little more sense than the original movie; when you get down to it, Aurora and Philip spent VERY little time together, whereas Maleficent probably spent a lot of time thinking about her)...
Comments from author:
Thank ya, MarcusSLazarus. I had a lot of fun with this one; I really liked giving Aurora some agency -even if it was while she alseep - maybe especially so. And I think you are right that between Phillip and Maleficent it makes a bit more sense for the latter to end up with her - or at least have an understanding of her, by the end of the movie - even if you are simply judging by how much time they spend with and how much they think about Aurora. Maleficent has years on Phillip in that regard.

And so, it is really up to Aurora to choose. *grin* Thank you for reviewing!

Review of chapter "Breaking Glass Coffins (Meg(Hercules)/Snow White)" from CPTSkip
Each and every one of your stories is delightful. A bit kinky sometimes, but delightful. Thanks for sharing.
Comments from author:
Thank ya for the compliment, CTPSkip - sorry for being late on replying. I giggled a bit at you saying some of my stories being were kinky - I write these for a LJ community called DisneyKinkMeme so it is rather appropriate that they toe that line at times. *grins*

Thanks again for reviewing. :)

Review of chapter "Breaking Glass Coffins (Meg(Hercules)/Snow White)" from (Current Donor)Sithspit
Well, that was certainly different.

I like it.
Comments from author:
It was actually one of the prompt responses that I had sitting around my computer and realized I had posted on the LJ community (probably around a year or so ago now) but never anywhere else. I'm glad that you liked it, Sithspit.

Review of chapter "Spark (Alice(in Wonderland)/Christopher Robin)" from vessal
wow enjoyed this one the best by far, I liked how you paid attention to how alice was dressed in how it effected the story and I also enjoyed the reactions on how ppl would see them becouse of their beliefs hope you end up adding more to it
Comments from author:
Thank ya, vessal. I really like when there are aesthetic quirks - like all of those bits of Alice's costume - it makes it seem, to me, much more like you are really dealing with the character. I'm glad you liked the way I played out how people would react to their belief's as they aged as well, and I agree with you - I think this is one it would be interesting to follow up on.

Thank you for the feedback!

Review of chapter "My Princesses (Maleficent/Snow/Cinderella/Ariel)" from Kodachi
Beautiful dark fic. I can almost see Maleficent this way - not primarily about the evil and violence, but the possession.

And Snow broke so very nicely, didn't she?
Comments from author:
It was surprisingly fun to write this - and I rather think the mental manipulation and dependency route is much more creepy and more complete than magic really. With the Princesses so very dependent on her they would do whatever she said (and practically beg to), be unable to leave or betray her (because they love each other and she is everything to them), and there was no chance of some odd spell simply breaking and them all going back to "normal".

And in my brain, to Maleficent, "possessing: these beings that were the "fairest" in all the land was pretty much the same as being so herself so there would be no jealousy. They were -Her- Princesses after all.

As for Snow, I see it as partially breaking, partially shrewdness - she woke up out of practically coma to rather quick massacre and decided it was simply easier in her mind to give in, to cling to this powerful person who seemed intent on taking her instead of angering them.

I'm glad you liked it though - it's nice to see reviews on these bits. *grins*

Review of chapter "Good (Kim Possible/Shego" from Kodachi
Very nice. I'm more than a bit of a KiGo fan, so this was fun. Love the heat between them.
Comments from author:
Ah, I rather adore KiGo. I am an insomniac and many of nights I would loose hours going through some of those novel-length KiGo fics.

(There is this one in particular that I'm thinking of where they are both shoved into another dimension practically identical to their own except no other people are alive and they then have to figure out a way home - build a device, etc. But it's all done the hard way: years of learning the science, research, finding a home to live in and maintain it, health scares, etc.) Ah, I loved that fic.

Anyways, sorry for ramblings, I'm glad I portrayed the heat between them well - I think this was my first slightly explicit fic. (I usually tend to fall to alluding to everything since I think I'm rather bad at it. It's actually the main reason I keep garbing prompts, to try to practice. *shakes head* It's late and I'm rambling again. Sorry.

Review of chapter "Spark (Alice(in Wonderland)/Christopher Robin)" from Kodachi
Just finished reading chapters 1 through 14. This is my favorite. There's something very real and raw about their connection, his Hundred Acre Woods and her Wonderland. I'd love to see this continued. Amazing Work.
Comments from author:
You know, I hadn't really thought of expanding it but there is something intriguing about the two of them as adults. Both trying to reconcile these storybook worlds with growing up, the normalizing pressures around them, and a growing relationship with someone else who understand. Hmm. I rather like that - thank you for getting my brain rolling on something. It might percolate for a while but I appreciate the idea.

And it delights me to hear that you read this entire collection - and enjoyed it - particularly this chapter. As you are the only reviewer, I have not really had much feedback on these bits (just some from the site where they were originally posted for the prompters). So I really do appreciate you taking the time to review, Kodachi.
