OMG you did it. Your evil mind wrote a story that let me giggle the whole time. This one is so good.
I never saw them in real but the good old television and advertising they do in magazine and online let me know how they look like. So when I read it that Buffy didn't recognize them as candy but knew that they were familiar I knew what they were.

I dunno... I'm two years and two months (to the day) older than Buffy's character, and a girl. I am neither the correct age nor the target audience, and I can identify it. It's always had those commercials, and if you missed those, it was always in magazines in two page adverts. So it's very likely that she does know what it looks like. Thanks for reading!
