Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Recent Donor)nerfherder
Short, sweet, convoluted as hell! What's not to like?!?
Comments from author:
Thanks - had some fun with this one.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from jakedaman
Nice. Shows what difference one man can do.
Comments from author:
Thanks - it's a shame the Marvel cinematic universe doesn't have all the heroes etc. of the comics, the Chitauri thing would have gone VERY differently.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Zarohk
An epic combination of pretty much every supernatural big gun in town. This is just plain made of EPIC WIN. Yeah, my only dislike was that it wasn't longer. I loved the phone conversations and the communication around the world. Hel/Hela does make more sense that Neil Gaiman's Death, only because if Sandman is part of this universe, then who is Amanda Palmer married to? (Or maybe, what was Neil Gaiman's graphic novel magnum opus?)

Honestly, the only thing that I could even imagine differently is the Doctor discussing with Tony Stark on how to close the portal:
"SHIELD, this is UNIT carrier Valiant," said Martha Jones. "We are engaging targets of opportunity. Let us know if you need us for anything more specific. We have the Doctor working with Stark on how to close the portal."
Comments from author:
I think the Doctor turns up two weeks later and says "there's going to be an alien invasion real soon now..." - he's slightly overkill for this situation!

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from JediKnight
Nice work any chance of a sequal or after fight story?

-Edit: One thing I wish you put in was Hellboy seeing Captain America and knowing him.
Comments from author:
Not planning it - I have so many unfinished stories, and write so slowly, and was thinking of this very much as a one-off. But if you want more post-movie stories there's a huge amount of Avengers fanfic out there - for example, 12000 or so on Archive of our Own, with dozens more posted every day. Sadly mostly omit the Ghostbusters, but you can't have everything.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Cutiepie
I hate it! Hate it that it had to end, that is. (Sorry, I had to say the "hate it" part after I read one of your review responses.) It was really fun, and even though I didn't actually recognize ALL of the cross-over characters, I never felt lost or anything. Wild ride, let me tell you. Thanks for sharing your imaginative genius.
Comments from author:
There's always one... ;-)

Non-recognition is the big problem with huge sprawling crossovers, which is one of the reasons I kept this short. If you can tell me who you got stuck on, I'll say who it was - just edit your review and I'll edit the response.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Current Donor)Sulien
LOVED THIS!!! The whole thing just rocked, all the way around, but my favorite part was Balthazar Blake being mistaken for Harry Dresden. Nic Cage really did want to play Dresden, but Balthazar Blake did in a pinch, I suppose! Now, if this had taken place in Chicago....

One of the very best things about fanfiction is being able to make your own version of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and incorporate characters from any franchise you like. Pity the damned studios can't see the genius of that, but that is exactly why we all enjoy writing crossovers so much. *g* And on that note, thank you so very much for sharing this! It was a dandy read and I look forward to continuing to read your stuff; damn glad I've got you on notify.

Edited to reply: I think that's certainly what Nicholas Cage had in mind! BB = HD. Also, I recced this on Dreamwidth and LJ. This story was so much fun I just couldn't not share it.
Comments from author:
You mean BB ISN'T HD???? You could have fooled me!

All I can say to the off screen John Mclean is "I swear to god, I am NEVER even THINKING about going into a tall building again!"

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from ianquest
A little crazy, but a great deal of fun!

I'm currently busy being a little weirded out by the fact I identified every single crossover almost immediately they appeared, even the Sorceror's Apprentice "lightning dome students on NYU". I don't know whether that's your writing skill or that I'm an even worse geek than I thought: I hope it's the former, but fear it's the latter... :)

Congratulations on another great, very enjoyable story! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Comments from author:
I was tempted to put in a couple even more obscure than Randall and Hopkirk, but sanity prevailed... Glad you liked it!

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Letomo
A nicely done version of the crossover. It got a little crowded at the end, but it still mostly made sense.

Thanks for sharing it!
