Well-executed one shot.

You did a great job of capturing Jo's voice in the narrative - the way she tries so hard to be brave, but she's really just scared. And then she berates herself for being foolish. I liked your descriptions of Oz and his economic use of words. It was very in-character.

The scenes were well-paced, starting close to the discovery without a lot of backstory or exposition to clutter the movement of the plot. I loved the bit at the end, coming around full-circle to the beginning of the piece.

I love this story. Just love it. I think you captured the characters of Jo and Oz perfectly, but even better meshed the worlds of Buffy and Supernatural in a natural and harmonious way. That it wasn't just a fluff piece but was about a character coming to an important philosophical conclusion gives it a greater depth than its length suggests.
