Review of chapter "Epilogue" from BarbarossaRotbart
Well, it's there some one playing too much "Dragon Age 2"? The epilogue reminds me of the prologue of the game.
Comments from author:
Indeed. Varric is certainly my favorite Dwarf.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from ShalaDakiri
let me guess: You've been playing Bard's Tale? My roommates been playing it and from her description, I can see a similarity.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what you'll do with the new version.
Comments from author:
Actually, BarbarossaRotbart got it right, it's Dragon Age 2

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from deathgeonous
Huh, rereading this made me realize I never read the last two chapters. Huh? Well, this still is/was a great and fun fic, so, thanks for writing this, bye for now.
Comments from author:
Thanks deathgeonous.

This is indeed not finished, but I decided for a hiatus at a point where it was convenient for the story

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from Senko
Interesting bit with the doomguard altgough considering when Buffy dissapeared and what's coming he may find his plans derailed. Especially considering earth while remote has been used as a meeting place by powerful beings like Elminster in the past.
Comments from author:
Thanks Senko,

I think I remember that little story. Elminster, Mordenkainen and... not sure if the third one was Dalamar. The question becomes: what did they really understand about that world and the forces at work there?

In my opinion, people like Elminster have a tendency to be centered on the affairs of their world. Their main interest about other planes is how much they can affect their own. So even if they know something, they will probably do nothing, thinking they have enough to care for on their own world.

There are things that will be explained later, among other things about if the Buffyverse Earth is really (in this story's Multiverse) the 'Laterre' from which the d'Ambreville family came from and, if that's the case, why the families constituting a good part of Glantri's wizard nobility left.

Concerning Ely Cromlich's opinion, an important thing to remember about planars is that they tend to look down on Primes (except those who settled in the planes for good and therefore stopped being clueless). It's not a matter of power level, but of mindset, in a typical big city/countryside opposition. His opinion is probably flawed and based on incomplete information but... one may wonder what he knows.

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from brokenmimir
I really like her new outfit -- it would be great if someone artistic could give us a rendering. The sword is very cool as well -- I had expected her to go with a bane weapon against baatezu, but anarchic is even better.

I would presume that Wolfram and Heart, being lawyers, would likely be baatezu of some kind, and if the Powers aren't so good, that leaves interesting questions about what they are. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Comments from author:
Thanks brokenmimir,

Yes, W&H are a front for the Baatezu, the Senior Partners being some of the Lords of the Nine. Regarding the Powers That Be... I will just say that in Uncaged: Faces of Sigil, there are some rather peculiar Celestials described, that prove that in Planescape 'good' does not necessarily mean 'nice'.

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from BarbarossaRotbart
Weird chapter! Weird because I really did not understand what happened in that pub.

BTW I believe that Buffy has all weapon feats. She can use every single weapon ever made, except those either too large or the heavy for her to wield.

EDIT: I know and I love Planescape, but that does not prevent me from not really understanding that part of this chapter.
Comments from author:
The scene in the bar called the Ubiquitous Wayfarer is mostly taken from random tavern events in a published adventure I will use for the next chapters.

Planescape is well... different and discussing philosophy is actually expected roleplay. Factions are built around ideas and ideas can literally shape reality in that setting. It's also a setting where even a Balor has a night off and just wants to drink in peace.

On the matter of the feats, that's how I interpreted it too. The 'Slayer's parting gift' makes her competent with all weapons and armor, plus Practiced Spellcaster for any class she would take. However, it only gives her the basic level. Weapon Focus and above have to be taken normally.

EDIT: I see, guess it's just too clear for me and I forget to explain more some things. Well some things will make more sense with the next chapter but it's otherwise just an evening at the pub for an adventuring party.

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from AllenPitt
Dream talk with Joyce is going to be weird. Convincing her it isn't just a dream, will that be hard? Presumably Faith has arrived in Sunnydale by now, might even be staying at the Summers house. I bet F. is doing a lot better without the jealousy issue, and as the only slayer the scoobies will be more accepting of her, maybe? Not sure if Angel would be back or not. Kinda hope he is; he'd stay and help for a while then head off to LA, probably.
A physical arrival in Sunnydale, yeesh. That'd be stressful for all concerned. I wonder if Willow would be jealous of the magic ability, or asking for instruction?
Comments from author:
One thing Buffy is starting to forget due to her crash-course in planar life is that magic is a lot harder back on Earth (not so much for a question of planar conditions as for a lack of proper knowledge, for reasons I'll explain later). The thing is that she just wants to do something, to not feel like a jerk who abandoned everyone.

It's true that without Buffy around, Faith will have less issues, but the question of how Kakistos was beaten is something I have to think about.

Review of chapter "Shopping day" from Aenea
Nice chapter, a day in the life for her as she spends her new lease on existence. Interesting interaction between her and the smith, funny he thinks telling her that will sway her. She already knows from her company that her home world is screwy. His info would just cement it for her. It's not like she'll be able to return there and stay, she's to noticeable as an elf on a world with only humans (and disguised demons).

Also liked the description and her reactions as she moved through the city. Hehehe Buffy drinking with an actual demon, because they both hate the Devils that made me smile.

As for Eldritch Knight, not sure if it would be best for her. It seem like more of a class used when one only takes a single level in Fighter to meet the prereqs, then going 1/9/10 or 3/7/10 FGT/SOR/EK. Starsoul has those nice Bloodline spells at 9 and 15. EK seems like the one to take to get that Spell Crit at 10. As she is now she'd be one level short. And that homebrew feat she has for being the former Slayer should be enough. Aiming for the ability to if not go home, than at least visit seems like something Buffy would shoot for in this instance, Plane Shift seems like the kind of spell that would have her studying and doing her best for, that chance to see home again.

It would be interesting to see how she adapts to being one of Moonbow's. Will Bast and her take an interest closer than they have, do they have a plan for dealing with Earth? It's a Prime where nearly every major Power has worshipers, yet not enough to be able to directly effect that Material Plane. Hmmm, makes a good reason why the Baatou are undermining it. Makes an interesting thought for your long run, since that seems like a mid to late teens type quest.
Comments from author:
Thank you Aenea

On the matter of her build: yes, I have to agree. What she would lose from just leveling as sorceress from now on would not make up for the added BAB. If she really need a combat boost, there are other ways, like having her take Tenser's Transformation at some point.

I must say that Pathfinder made a good job of making the idea of simple-class character attractive.

Review of chapter "In the Maze" from ShalaDakiri
I liked reading about Buffy and Morgan working in tandem. Will you be giving her any of the team work feats if she stays with the group long enough?
Comments from author:
Thank you ShalaDakiri.

Buffy already has one given her bonus feat of her Tactician level: Swap places (mainly used in Sunnydale to put either Xander or Willow on the back line, using the 'share teamwork feat' ability of the Tactician)

Her next feats will depend on what I write, but teamwork feats are not high on the priority list. Sorcerer-related stuff is a more immediate concern to her.

Review of chapter "In the Maze" from BarbarossaRotbart
And another interesting chapter...

It would really be fun, if W&H is the real Big Bad (btw the official meaning of the name is wrong; Wolfram does not mean wolf and ram, but wolf and raven).

Will there be pictures of Buffy in her elven form and her companions?
Comments from author:
Thank you BarbarossaRotbart

In this story, W&H is the front on Earth for a Planescape fiendish race (the one that likes to play with laws). Saying that the Senior Partners are members of the group known as the Lords of the Nine will not be much of a spoiler (but who among them is).

I made similar adjustments for the rest of the 'players' in the Buffyverse.

As for the pictures... I'm afraid my skills on the matter are not sufficient.
