Review of chapter "Should Have Gone To Alaska" from Geyer
Review:
Interesting. Considering some of the other situations the Scoobies have gotten into and out of, I'd like to think that Giles could, in fact, come up with a way to get Cordelia out of the bargain and maybe rescue Jack as well.

Review of chapter "Should Have Gone To Alaska" from RevDorothyL
Review:
considering how Cordelia's parents treated her at the end of season 3 (and how they never checked back in on her again, as far as we could see), I think I know which two souls I'd nominate to take her place! Oh, well...

I kind of left the resolution open, but one could interpret that they never actually fled for tax evasion, after all ....

Review of chapter "Should Have Gone To Alaska" from BlueEyedBrigadier
Review:
Well...depending on one's interpretation of the Chases (Cordy's parents), Cordy could trade their souls in...dad's a tax shirker and mom was in the wind when the IRS came along to claim Chase family assets. Maybe Cordy can get lucky and the cruise liner's got some nasty people hiding aboard it that Cordy can trick into giving themselve to Davy Jones?

Review of chapter "Should Have Gone To Alaska" from Cutiepie
Review:
I thought that the challenge was for the "Black Pearl" and crew (Capt. Barbosa, et al), not the "Flying Dutchman" and crew (Davy Jones, et al). Oh well, still a funny little tale. I wonder how she'll "repay her debt" or if she'll just pull a runner and never set foot near the beach again. Would that even work, and if so, could she manage it?
Comments from author:
I kind of misread the prompt, and then it was way too late to change it before midnight (as I was writing it to fit into the daily challenge). Oops. =)
