Jedibuttercup has a great story here and oh I want to read more of it!!! What with Buffy and her grasp of tactics and putting together the teams (the more slayers, the merrier!)!!

Wow! Either this is an alternate universe version of the SGC (like the one 'our' Sam Carter ended up trapped in for a while in SG1 season 10, I think it was, where Hank Landry was President/Dictator, etc.), or something has gone terribly, horribly wrong to have the SGC apparently supporting the Goa'uld in the kidnapping and murder (or near-murder, in Giles' case) of the oldest male Scoobies.
Or has the SGC been framed or set-up by some of their enemies, in hopes that the Slayers will decimate the SGC and leave the Trust (for instance) a free hand in the future disposition of the Stargate, and they're not REALLY responsible for any of this torture and murder at all?

Great chapter. I want to make sure I understand the back-story, some of the Scoobies broke into one of the most secure military installations on Earth and Xander was shot and killed? Why were they there? Personally, I expect to be met with lethal force if i were to attempt to break into the SGC and would consider myself lucky to be captured instead. Oh well, looks like this one is gonna be bloody; I'm looking forward to chapter 2.

Ok. but where in the Stargate timeline does this take place?
I don't see the SGC under Gen. Hammond making this mistake. How about it happening while it is under the command of Gen. Bauer (Season 2 I believe) when Gen. Hammond was pushed out by the NID? He was somewhat ok with 'anything goes' if it helped defend the country (and therefore Earth) and could conceivably be ruthless enough to make it plausible. SG1 could have been ordered elsewhere at the time the prequel occurred.
Or perhaps it wasn't the real SGC? It could have been the aliens who took control of the SGC using those holographic emitters that imitated the real personnel.

You'll see a little more of what's going on in the next story, which will be told from the POV of Stargate Command, I promise!

You know that you're going to HAVE to write a sequel to this, dealing with how Xander and Giles were captured in the first place, right? Right?
No fair leaving us in the dark as to how they got there, what happened to them, and what the repercussions will be.
Please write a sequel?

It's planned!!! There will at least be one sequel to this, showing the POV of Stargate Command, and I'm hoping on also writing a prequel to show how they got here! :D

And then, six months after their victory over the SGC, every man, woman and child on the planet dies in an orbital bombardment. If the Goa'uld didn't have protections against magic, they wouldn't have been able to conquer the Earth like they did.
Comments from author:
I'm just going to say that you're only seeing one part of this story, the POV of the Scoobies. Things are NOT what they appear to be.
