You know, all things considered, Wesley is actually perfectly suited to be on SG-1, especially at that point in his life.

Like so many truly good crossovers, I wish this one could be canon. I loved Jonas, but the poor guy just didn't stand a chance. Wesley could absolutely hold his own as the '5th man on the team', and then some, whether Daniel eventually came back or not. I think even O'Neill will have sufficient respect for Wesley by the time all is said and done, and that's saying quite a bit.

"he'll do the right thing over the easy thing." such a great understatement of the entire Wes arch in the Angel series.

Love this series. Looking forward to more, there will be more right?

great little series

I am thrilled to see more in this series. I've read one story where Giles joins the SGC while Daniel is still there, regrettably it seems abandoned, but I haven't ever seen a Wesley in Stargate story. This time period is the perfect time for him. And much better than Jonas on the team--I like in an earlier segment that Jack brings up that Quinn's expertise comes only from memorizing *Daniel's* diaries & notes. But I digress. . . thrilled to see more of this, love the interactions & definitely giggled at poor Carter trying to quantify magic. I really hope your muse returns to this a bit sooner with more.

Jack was being a little snarky there; but yeah, basically. Consider Jack's state of mind when he joined the program, for example ....

Intriguing! At least Carter has got a science based cover story ready made to explain things that cannot be explained. We wouldn't want her to be distracted at a critical juncture by "magic" coming out of nowhere.
While I'm sure Wesley will welcome a change at this time I shudder to think what will happen in LA without him there. Will we find out later in the story?

Going around an obstacle is a great alternative when straight forward refuses to cooperate. Informative and entertaining. Thanks for continuing to work on this series.

I'm thrilled with this continuation of the "Starting Over' series, and I enjoyed seeing Wesley's 'arrival at the SGC' only from the point of view of those evaluating his fitness for the team, after the fact.
