Review of chapter "Chapter One" from cmdruhura
It has been rumored for almost as long as there have been cartoonists, animators, and the like that they like to sneak in some personal tagging in the things they draw. And it is not confined just to Disney either. They especially like to do things like that once various watchdog groups started to put the moral screws to those of their ilk. Creativity should not be stifled is their battle cry and their subtle snubs at the establishment their ammo.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from WolfWriter
That's a bit more than I ever wanted to know about Jessica, but hilarious just the same.

I've been having this weird urge to see one of the teams jump either into Jesus Christ Superstar, Ben Hur or King of Kings, to pick up something from one of the characters and running into none other than J.C. himself, who KNOWS WHO THEY ARE, AND WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!

It'd be a kick if it were Dawn and Vi.

Although, that might not really work for the first two; since in the first one, the cast all knows that it's just a rock opera; in the second, you never really saw J.C. up close and personal.

In the third, Jeffrey Hunter is all over the place! So it'd be great if it was his version.

Maybe during the scene when he's visiting his mother with a couple of his friends in tow.

Well, animators have to get their kicks in somehow...but I imagine the real answer to the fact that Jessica goes commando is that it was a detail that wasn't officially needed and the one time (getting thrown from the animated cab, causing her dress to tent up) was a shot nobody would notice until the age of VCR ;P
