A refreshing spin on the YAHF storylines, and for all of the cool potential this represents, for some reason all my mind can focus on is: will Harry's Patronus change? It could be a hyena, or my favorite, a petite blonde with a stake...

I'm so waiting for this story to be extended and expanded as this "new and improved" Harry Potter proceeds to deal with a lot of things in ways that drive Albus, Tom, Cornelius, and their agents crazy. Beyond that, it should prove interesting to see just what team of friends he assembles around him. I'll bet he goes into the final task much better prepared and armed to the teeth.

::snicker:: Oh, dear!! I wonder who's going to be more inconvenienced by this turn of events, Tom or Albus? In either case, I suspect this is going to lead to a very great departure from canon as *this* Harry proceeds to act on knowledge and power the one in canon doesn't have available. Methinks this is going to make for some memorable moments in the near, and farther, future.

Harry and company are going to make sure that *everyone* who's not working in their best interests are going to regret ever meeting them. ;-)

And canon isn't even going to visible with a 400x telescope , very shortly. ;-)
