I just re-read the whole thing... I can't believe I forgot to recommend this the first time. I hope you haven't closed the book on this universe, in fact with both Thor and Cap having movies in the near future perhaps we'll see a return sooner rather than later. In the meantime, have you ever thought of casting an eye toward the rest of the Marvel movie verse? The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the X-Men are all ripe subjects for your intimate style of storytelling, and the thought of Blade being harassed by Faith always makes me smile.

I adore Pepper, too -- possibly even more when she's comfortably barefoot and wearing cut-off shorts and STILL totally dominating both Tony and Phil Coulson in the nicest possible way in that scene from "The Avengers", but I also deeply love Corporate Power Pepper with her spike heels and brute competence hidden behind a pleasantly freckled face. :)

That was Brilliant! That was a very subtle FU to the board, with graphs and slides. Pepper rode in like Xena and laid the smackdown like Gabrielle; the smoke rising from their poor, little heads should have set off the fire suppression system.
