I really do like this story, but I have a question. Did you change the previous couple chapters? I could have sworn Cordy and Xander had gone to some party at someones house, but I might be getting my fan fiction mixed up. Thank you for letting us read your work, and I can't wait to read more of it.

Another great chapter. I love how this story goes. This makes for a cute C/X as well as B/W. This actually shows a how that relationship could actualy go. It's so cute!

As Spike is reputed to have tried turning his mother after he was himself turned by Dru (which turned out to be a sorry mess), he would know about that.
Spike is a truly interesting character, but William the Bloody isn't William the Bloody Awful Poet who was turned (at least not until the demon trials), however bad Spike's own poetry may or may not be.
He's the first to say he is a demon.
In a real sense, Angelus is probably a horrible figure to the demonic community as much as he is to those humans aware of him. He drove his prospective Childe completely bugshit to the point the demon that took her place inherited the crazy. Now that's hardcore, even for Darla's spawn.

Thank you for the review! It's certainly true that Spike never made any quibbles about being either a demon or a villain. I can say he will continue to be around for awhile as I've got the next 3 or 4 chapters outlined and he plays a part in them. After that we'll see. I figured that he does care for Dru but very few others. In canon he was never very fond of Angel so I have Angel waiting until he's in a stronger position before confronting Spike. They'll both be back later to cause mischief.
