Review of chapter "On Rona and DJ, and What They Have in Common" from Eureka
Just for the record @ one of the reviewers NO cancer is easy to "Cure"! You live through the shit and get on with what is left of your life! My MIL has cancer My FATHER has cancer; my MOTHER, BOTH Grandmothers, and my Aunt DIED of cancer! So please be kinder about how you talk about it. It doesn't matter what kind of cancer it is..there is way too many chances that it will kill. Myself..I have been blessed, I HAD cancer and beat it.

Ok that is out of my system...on to the review...

Hope that Danny gets better and don't change what he has over one person's review. Your writing is much better than that. What would e funny to me at least is for one of DJ's girls to turn out to be a Slayer.
Comments from author:
I don't yet know if Danny is going to recover -- I might mention that in a future story, but it may not end up being germane unless I do take your suggestion and, 12 or 13 years down the road (in story-years, not real years), Pam or Jen does indeed become a slayer.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for reviewing.

interesting idea. question. why thyroid cancer? I'm pretty sure it is considered one of the easiest cancer to treat (if there is such a thing). It may make it easier for readers to say oh that isn't so bad and not care as much about the story. If you really want to make it scary - pancreatic cancer (very low survival rate). or something that seems scary but it depends on the type, location and severity when discovered - Brain cancer.
Comments from author:
I wrote this story toward the end of House's final season, and Wilson was going to die from thyroid cancer. I don't have a ton of experience with cancer, other than prostate (grandfather) and skin (uncle), and after researching a few I decided on this one.

Thanks for your review and insight.
