*vbg* Nope. I never understood the attitude of letting someone live who was trying to kill you. Does NOT compute. Sure you don't kill them in cold blood, but in self defense, they're dead if I can shoot straight. I always figured Xander was the same way.

Actually, according to show canon, Xander is the vindictive sort who WOULD kill in cold blood. So in this I think I may have toned him down. LOL

It's a fun story, but I dearly wish you'd just post it as chapters rather than ficlets. Hitting the "next story" link all the time instead of getting it all with "whole story" and even ficlets that show as tracked on the Latest list I tend to skip, as a couple of my favorite authors persist in perpetrating unrelated scenes as well as the stuff I actually like.

I'm glad you liked the story. Now I have to chuckle, because your mini-rant reminded me of the cartoon character George Jetson coming home from work one day and complaining to his wife Jane. "Ugh, I'm exhausted! I must have had to push that button on and off five times today." *giggle*

Seriously though, I'm sorry if it's irksome to you, but the ficlets are mostly unrelated as far as timeline and subject matter, so it makes more sense to post them separately AND for some weird reason it seems to fool my muse into letting me write more in the 'verse. *shrugs* So I'm rolling with that. Loved this, April! I just finished re-reading the entire series and my smile is bigger than ever.

The idea of Hagrid, who probably weighs as much as the entire pack, combined, watching nervously as they sniff around his ankles, made me laugh out loud. ;-)

I think that Dumbledore is realizing that he's going to have even more problems, *if* Jimmy/Harry ever does come to Hogwarts, and that getting him to go there is going to be more than a matter of his simply saying it would be the best thing for Jimmy/Harry.

I'm also waiting to see what Dumbledore's reaction is going to be when Xander does finally question him about why they were unable to recognize that there was something wrong about Jimmy's/Harry's scar when they dropped him off with Xander, and why they didn't do more about it, back then. *That* should be an interesting conversation. ;-)

Lol perfect pets for a boy to have, it's a shame It's not on the list of acceptable pets for 1st years even if hyenas have cat like attributes. XD. I can see this as something that dumbles will use to say Harry needs safer caretakers. I can't wait to see how Harry is personality wise when he wasn't raised under such neglectful conditions.

Is there anyway Jesse could end up joining jimmy at magic school? I always wondered if Dudley was raised differently if he could have his own magic uncovered since it does show up in families sometimes, like with the creevy brothers. Having support at the school could make a world of difference and while I like Ron he makes a sucky support friend. Not to say he cant be but he has too many of his own issues that he would have to work through first.

*snicker* Um, I have a feeling that if Dumbledore wants Harry/Jimmy to go to Hogwarts, some concessions will have to be made. As part of Xander's Pack, he MUST be protected and by that time, who knows, the boy may have even MORE protectors. *giggle*
