This now tops my list of "Most Unlikely Buffy Crossovers" and I loved your twist at the end. Well avenged.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from BlueEyedBrigadier
Review:
Other than Patton coming back - even temporarily - via a Bringer? This one shot is seriously brilliant work! Though the implication Anya was behind the Soviet Union staying under Communism until the end of the 1980s/start of the 1990s is rather heavy indeed.

An intriguing method of crossover, with a real twist on the character choice.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from burmafrdnow
Review:
Remember the Soviets did not get the bomb until around 1948 or so (just when it was ready is debated)

Patton wanted to start it in 1945 while we still had the army and air force ready to go.

Probably could not have gotten it done but one will never know

Patton did absolutely believe in reincarnation. And his historical insight on ancient battles was never wrong; something that some historians have marveled at.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from djhardim
Review:
According to a program on either the Military or History Channel, Patton had suffered a neck injury earlier in his life. It caused problems for him several times subsequent. It had weakened his neck just enough so that a seemingly minor traffic accident later would cause a fatal injury.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from CPTSkip
Review:
I remember the first time I read some of GEN Patton's poems and thinking, "In a different time-line this guy could have written some really kick-butt fantasy novels." I do wonder how history would have been changed if Patton had lived. Could he have liberated Eastern Europe and defeated Communism? Possibly. On the other hand, of course he could have triggered a nuclear WWIII and we'd all be dead or unborn. But I did like your nasty little story. I am now wondering who he will be next time he is reincarnated.
