Dull, dull dull, one massive infodump. Too much tell and not enough show.
There is a couple of chapters worth of material here and if the emotional aftermath of Sunnydale is not the story you wanted to write then you should write the story you wanted to and gradually work the background information in as needed. There does not seem to be anything here that is necessary to understand any subsequent story you may want to write.
